摘要: Systems and methods for facilitating exercise monitoring are provided. A representative method includes: using a processor, having processor circuitry, to: obtain motion readings reported from an inertial sensor of a wearable device and corresponding to a scheduled training types; receive the schedule and a target status of a target training count or a target training time corresponding to each of the training types; determine the current training type based on the schedule; select one of the computing models based on the current training type; compare the set of matching characteristics corresponding to the current training type and the motion readings until the target status has been attained for the current training type; select a next training type based on the schedule; select another one of the computing models based on the next training type; determine activity information associated with the schedule; and compute an exercise amount of the user based on the target status, the activity information, and the schedule.

摘要: A method and apparatus for performing motion recognition using motion sensor fusion and an associated computer program product are provided, where the method is applied to an electronic device. The method includes the steps of: utilizing a plurality of motion sensors of the electronic device to obtain sensor data respectively corresponding to the plurality of motion sensors, the sensor data measured at a device coordinate system of the electronic device, wherein the plurality of motion sensors includes inertial motion sensors; and performing sensor fusion according to the sensor data by converting at least one portion of the sensor data and derivatives of the sensor data into converted data based on a global coordinate system of a user of the electronic device, to perform motion recognition based on the global coordinate system, in order to recognize the user's motion.

摘要: An electronic device utilizing a nine-axis motion sensor module, capable of accurately outputting a resultant deviation including deviation angles in a 3D reference frame is provided. The present invention provides a novel comparison and compensation to accurately obtain a resultant deviation including deviation angles of the electronic device under the presence of external and/or internal interferences including the ones caused by undesirable electromagnetic fields and the ones associated with undesirable external forces and axial accelerations. The output of the nine-axis motion sensor module of the present invention including a rotation sensor, an accelerometer and a magnetometer can be advantageously obtained and compensated with a comparison comparing different states of the motion sensor module such that an updated state associated with the output and the resultant deviation angles of the nine-axis motion sensor module are preferably obtained in an absolute manner with the undesirable external interferences being effectively excluded.

摘要: A representative method involves: generating measured angular velocities and measured axial accelerations; calculating a resulting deviation associated with movements and rotations in a spatial reference frame by: providing a previous quaternion corresponding to time T−1 based on the measured axial accelerations corresponding to time T−1 and the measured angular velocities corresponding to time T−1; converting the measured angular velocities corresponding to time T based on the previous quaternion into a current quaternion and predicted axial accelerations; comparing the predicted axial accelerations with the measured axial accelerations corresponding to time T to obtain a first comparison result; obtaining an updated quaternion associated with time T based on the current quaternion and the first comparison result, and using the updated quaternion as a next occurrence of the previous quaternion; and providing the resulting deviation based on the updated quaternion; and, providing content based on the resulting deviation in the spatial reference frame.

摘要: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a motion sensor and a processor. The motion sensor is configured to perform a sampling at a sampling rate. In each sampling, the motion sensor generates a sample by sampling an angular velocity or an acceleration of the electronic device. The motion sensor is further configured to store each sample in a buffer of the motion sensor. The processor is coupled to the motion sensor and is configured to perform a polling at a polling rate. In each polling, the processor fetches a plurality of the samples from the buffer. The processor is further configured to perform a numerical integration based on the fetched samples.
