摘要： An easy set-up tray wherein in addition to the usual well defined by a tray for receiving food products, there is a top panel for receiving other products, including containers for drinks and the like. Each tray is of a one-piece construction and is provided in a substantially flat knocked-down state. When it is desired to erect or set-up the tray, side panels thereof are grasped and pulled apart with the result that the tray automatically erects and is locked in its erected or set-up position. The top panel is connected to the side panels by reversely foldable connecting panels so as to provide for a rigid structure.

摘要： This relates to a clasp lock for interlocking two overlapping closure panels of a carton. The clasp lock is made adjustable to compensate for different sizes of articles being packaged in the same carton. In order to effect the adjustment of the lock between the closure panels, the primary locking tab is of a stepped height and the closure panel carrying the primary locking shoulders is cut so that the primary locking shoulders are also stepped with respect to the free edge of the associated closure panel. In the interlocking of the closure panel portions, the primary locking tab will automatically engage the proper primary locking shoulder in accordance with the objects which are being packaged within the carton.

摘要： This relates to a closure panel and lock arrangement for cartons of the wrap around type. The customary secondary lock includes at least one, and preferably two, male locking tabs which have a locking projection on one side only of a narrow neck and defining a locking shoulder. The male locking tab is associated with a separate female locking slot in an inner closure panel immediately adjacent its folded connection with a side panel of the carton wherein the female locking slot is formed by a single knife arrangement forming first and second cut lines without the removal of material. The shapes of the cut lines provide for automatic opening of the female locking slot when the inner closure panel is folded relative to an adjacent side panel and there is defined a flexible locking ear which will lock behind the shoulder of the male locking tab.

摘要： A package and a method of forming the same wherein an assembly of articles, in the form of bottles, arranged in double row relation, is enclosed in a tubular wrapper which is formed from a blank of paperboard, or the like, cut and scored to fold about the top, opposite sides, and bottom of the article assembly, with the bottom wall forming ends of the blank having narrow hinged marginal panels, one of which is adapted to be swung to an upwardly extending position between the rows of articles and form a separating partition while the other one has locking and latching tabs on its opposite side edges which are adapted to be engaged in interlocking relation in cooperating locking and latching apertures in portions of the associated bottom wall forming panel. Article separating tabs are cut in part from the top wall panel and are adapted to be swung to partition forming relation between the top portions of the articles in the rows.
