Abstract: A shock assembly with internal bypass having position dependent reservoir flow is provided. The shock assembly includes a twin tube shock body having an inner tube and an outer tube. The shock assembly also includes a ring divider coupled between the inner body and the outer body to separate and form a fluid gap between the inner body and the outer body. The shock assembly includes bypass ports and bleeder ports formed in the inner body. Additionally, there are reservoir flow ports formed in the inner body and located above body divider ring, wherein the reservoir flow ports are configured to direct shaft displacement flow of fluid to a reservoir of the shock assembly when a piston of the shock assembly passes by the reservoir flow ports and into the bump zone during a compression stroke. This eliminates the risk of cavitation in the bump zone.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a sway bar system comprising a damping link that couples a first end of a sway bar to a first location on a vehicle. The damping link is comprised of a body comprising a damping chamber and a reservoir. There is also a through shaft coupled to a piston, where the piston divides the chamber into a first chamber and a second chamber. A high-pressure line is fluidly coupled with the chamber and the reservoir and allows fluid to flow from the first chamber and the second chamber to the reservoir. A low-pressure line is fluidly coupled with the chamber and the reservoir and allows fluid to flow from the reservoir to the first chamber and the second chamber. The high-pressure line and the low-pressure line assist in self-centering the sway bar.

Abstract: An apparatus and system are disclosed that provide position sensitive suspension damping. A damping unit includes a piston mounted in a fluid-filled cylinder. A vented path in the piston may be fluidly coupled to a bore formed in one end of the piston rod, creating a flow path for fluid to flow from a first side of the piston to a second side of the piston during a compression stroke. The flow path may be blocked by a needle configured to engage the bore as the damping unit is substantially fully compressed, thereby causing the damping rate of the damping unit to increase. In one embodiment, the piston includes multiple bypass flow paths operable during the compression stroke or the rebound stroke of the damping unit. One or more of the bypass flow paths may be restricted by one or more shims mounted on the piston.

Abstract: An extended seatpost saddle clamp nut for a saddle rail clamp assembly is disclosed. The saddle rail clamp assembly includes an upper saddle rail clamping portion having at least one opening therein, the upper saddle rail clamping portion rotatably coupled with a housing. A lower saddle rail clamping portion located between the upper saddle rail clamping portion and the housing. A fastening system having an extended seatpost saddle clamp nut at least partially within the at least one opening of the upper saddle rail clamping portion and a fastener at least partially within a fastener opening of the housing. The fastener to couple with the extended seatpost saddle clamp nut to compressively couple the upper saddle rail clamping portion with the lower saddle rail clamping portion to retain a saddle rail therebetween. The extended seatpost saddle clamp nut does not decrease a saddle bottom-to-dropper seatpost standoff distance, and the saddle rail clamp assembly minimizes a required length of the fastener.
