    摘要: A system and method for identifying presence of digital ghosting artifacts in videos is disclosed. The method comprises estimating a blending parameter (α) for a current image using a previous image and a next image of a digital video stream. Successively, a blended image (B) is created by mixing contents of the previous image and the next image based on the estimated blending parameter (α). Thereafter, a first similarity is computed between the blended image (B) and a de-interlaced image (C), based on a Normalized Cross Correlation (NCC) between multiple blocks of the blended image (B) and the de-interlaced image (C). Successively, a second similarity is computed between the blended image (B) and the de-interlaced image (C), based on values of standard deviation of an absolute difference frame determined between the blended image (B) and the de-interlaced image (C). The de-interlaced image (C) is finally identified to comprise digital ghosting artifact based on values of the first similarity and the second similarity.

    摘要: A low latency transmitter and receiver for an OFDM system are disclosed. The low latency transmitter includes an FFT module and a baseband modulator. The FFT module computes IDFT of PSK constellation data symbols or QAM constellation data symbols. The baseband modulator performs complex modulation of the IDFT samples by multiplying these samples with 1 and −1 alternatively in time domain. The low latency receiver includes a baseband demodulator and another FFT module. The baseband demodulator performs complex demodulation of the received samples of OFDM symbols by multiplying the samples of OFDM symbols with 1 and −1 alternatively in time domain thereby obtaining baseband demodulated symbols. The FFT module of the receiver computes DFT of samples of the baseband demodulated symbols to obtain samples of the OFDM demodulated symbols.

The method includes processing a top and bottom field picture of a first frame and a second frame, in which the first and second frames are consecutive frames of a video sequence. Difference frames are obtained by calculating the difference of the top and bottom field pictures of the first and second frames. Thereafter, field order is detected using the difference frames.

The method includes identifying a sequence of frames, having the luminance flashes, from the video stream. The sequence of frames is extended at both sides (start and end) based on a predefined threshold. The method further comprises dividing an extended sequence of frames into at least three segments. Further, the method includes determining a correction factor and a correction constant for each of the at least three segments. Thereafter, the method includes modifying luminance values of pixels of each of the at least three segments based on the correction factor and the correction constant, thereby adjusting the luminance flashes in the video stream.

    摘要: The invention discloses a method and a system for optimizing address generation for simultaneously running proximity-based Built-In-Self-Test (BIST) algorithms. The method also describes simultaneously testing proximity-based faults for different memories having column multiplexers of different sizes using the BIST algorithms. The system described above may be embodied in the form of a Built-In-Self-Test (BIST) controller. Further, the method includes selecting a memory having the largest size of column multiplexer (CMmax). After selecting the memory, size of an address-width register is extended to form an extended address-width register. Thereafter, an extended width address is generated using the extended address-width register and the extended width address is used to generate addresses for the memories. After generating the addresses, read and write operations are performed on the memories based on pre-defined rules, wherein the read and write operations provide testing of the memories.

    摘要: A method and system for calculating an interlace artifact in image data are disclosed. A motion picture of the image data comprises a series of frames, captured at a predefined interval of time. During processing of the motion picture, the frames are divided into fields, each field comprising one or more pixels. A difference between the pixels of the fields is calculated. Thereafter, edges of the pixels are calculated in the fields. The method and system then identify the focused area in the fields. To calculate the interlace artifact in the motion picture, the displacement of the focused area is calculated by using motion vectors. The artifacts are calculated as a ratio of a number of pixels based on motion vector calculation.
