    摘要： A fluid dose-measuring device adapted to be releasably received in a dispensing apparatus having an electromagnetic coil includes a housing with an outlet passage and a connector part defining an inlet passage, the housing forming an internal chamber which is in fluid communication with the inlet passage and the outlet passage, and the connector part being connectable to a fluid container; a piston moveably arranged in the chamber of the housing for reciprocating motion between a closed position in which a flow from the inlet passage to the outlet passage is prevented and an open position in which a flow from the inlet passage to the outlet passage is allowed, the piston comprising a ferromagnetic actuation part for electromagnetic actuation of the piston by the electromagnetic coil, where the actuation part is arranged in an outer body.

    摘要： A disposable concentrate pump for use with a liquid reservoir, with the actuating solenoid mounted in the dispenser. The pump has a body with flexible walls, a top-cap, a seal-base and a nozzle, with a seal-rod extending from the top-cap to the nozzle, stretching the flexible walls of the body and creating a net restoring force on the seal-base. A seal-head on the seal-rod seals a central opening in the seal-head when pressed against a side of the seal-head by the net restoring force. Reciprocally moving the seal-head parallel to an axis of the pump body operates the pump.

    摘要： A beverage dispenser for dispensing a beverage into a container is provided. The dispenser includes a housing having a dispensing area. A pump or a control valve is in communication with a source of diluent which is to be dispensed into the dispensing area. A cartridge receiving area and a dispensing actuator are located in the housing. A concentrate/extract cartridge is removably insertable into the cartridge receiving area in a position to be actuated by the dispensing actuator, the concentrate/extract cartridge being adapted to hold a beverage concentrate/extract and including a dispensing aperture for dispensing a beverage concentrate/extract into the dispensing area upon placement of the concentrate/extract cartridge in the cartridge receiving area. A controller is located in the housing to control the actuator to discharge concentrate/extract into the dispensing area. A method of dispensing a selected beverage made from concentrate/extract and a diluent is also provided.
