    摘要: A cross shaft joint includes a bearing cup, a cross shaft, and a joint yoke. The bearing cup includes a cylindrical portion in which an opening portion for receiving a shaft portion is formed in one end of the cylindrical portion in an axis direction, and a bottom portion that closes the other end of the cylindrical portion in the axis direction. The bearing cup is press-fitted into the fitting hole and supports the shaft portion through a rolling element so that the shaft portion is able to rotate. The bearing cup is fitted onto the shaft portion inside the fitting hole and holds the rolling element with the shaft portion. A diameter of an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion is smaller on the opening portion side than the bottom portion side in a free state of the bearing cup before being press-fitted into the fitting hole.

    摘要: A piston is displaced in a cylinder to pre-load an antifriction bearing. This displacement of the piston is effected according to the amount of working oil confined in a working oil chamber. This oil pressure generating device is equipped with a working oil reservoir to pressurize the working oil in the reservoir for reserving the working oil to be fed to the chamber. An orifice is disposed in a working oil passage for providing the communication between the reservoir and the chamber. The clearance, which is established in the portion of antifriction bearing by the extension or contraction of a shaft due to a temperature change, is absorbed by such displacement of the piston, as is effected by the flow of the working oil between the reservoir and the chamber via the orifice. This orifice acts as a high resistance to and a high rigidity against the abrupt fluctuation in the direction opposite to the pre-loading direction.

The head of the coupling bolt is rotatably engaged in a bolt head engaging part provided at one side of the device main body and shank, while the threaded part of the coupling bolt is engaged with a screw hole provided at the other side of the device main body and shank, and the engaging part for rotary operation tool provided on the outer end plane in the axial direction of the coupling bolt confronts outside through the insertion hole of the shank. The bolt head engaging part has a bolt head accommodating space larger than the maximum hole diameter permitted in the shank in terms of strength, and therefore the shaft diameter of the coupling bolt may be set, at least, as large as the maximum hole diameter of the shank.
