摘要: Apparatus and methods are provided for system information delivery through a sidelink relay in a wireless network. In one novel aspect, the relay UE obtains and maintains a list of interested system information block (SIB) types of the remote UE, acquires the updated SI/SIBs, and forwards the updated SIBs that the remote UE is interested in. In one embodiment, the UE establishes a sidelink connection with a remote UE, obtains a list of interested SIB types of the remote UE, receives a short message from the wireless network, acquires updated SIBs, and forwards one or more selected SIBs based on the list of interested SIB types to the remote UE. In another embodiment, the relay UE stores/maintains the list of interested SIB types of the remote UE within a remote UE context of the remote UE during the lifetime of the remote UE.

摘要: An apparatus, implementable in a user equipment (UE), initiates any of an initial access procedure, a master information block (MIB)-decoding procedure or a measurement procedure with a wireless network. The apparatus also performs wireless communications with the wireless network upon completion of the initial access procedure, the MIB-decoding procedure or the measurement procedure. Each of the initial access procedure and the MlB-decoding procedure involves performing one or more operations enhancing coexistence of at least one reduced-capability (RedCap) UE having a restricted radio frequency (RF) bandwidth with at least one non-RedCap UE. The measurement procedure involves reporting to a serving cell of the wireless network about an outcome of one or more measurements performed on synchronization signals from both the service cell and a neighboring cell.

摘要: Various solutions for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring configuration for carrier aggregation (CA) with respect to user equipment and network apparatus in mobile communications are described. An apparatus may transmit a capability report to indicate a plurality of monitoring combinations of PDCCH monitoring capabilities to a network node. The apparatus may receive a monitoring combination configured by the network node based on the capability report. The apparatus may determine a monitoring budget by using the configured monitoring combination. The apparatus may perform a PDCCH monitoring according to the monitoring budget.

摘要: Methods for a New Radio (NR)-based, Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) are proposed to improve cell selection and reselection by using satellite assistance information. Different from traditional 5G New Radio systems, the LEO NTN can provide the next cell information along the satellite trajectory using System Information Broadcast (SIB). The assistance information can include satellite's long term ephemeris in the format of Position Velocity (PV) information or details of satellite's other orbital parameters. During TN-NTN join coverage, as TN cells are expected to have a better coverage then NTN cells, the network can assign higher priority to the TN cells over NTN cells. Similarly, for a mobility involving earth-fixed and earth-moving beams (cells), earth-fixed cells can be prioritized over earth-moving beams for cell reselection.

The method inlcudes: measuring, by a measurement device located in an anechoic chamber, a standard signal transmitted from a base station simulator and went through to a channel emulator, then output with noise added inside the channel emulator, to multiple antennas within the anechoic chamber; obtaining, by a computing device, measurement information based on the standard signal and the noise transmitted from the measurement device; determining, by the computing device, whether the measurement information is within a predetermined range of a target value; and transmitting, by the computing device, a control signal to the channel emulator to adjust the noise output from the channel emulator so that the computing device obtains desired measurement information based on the standard signal and the adjusted noise when the measurement information is not within the predetermined range of the target value.

摘要: User equipment (UE) for managing out-of-order packets is provided. The UE may include a radio frequency (RF) signal processing device, a management module, a filter module and a multi-reorder queue circuit. The RF signal processing device may receive a plurality of packets from a network node. The management module may collect network information of the network node and application information and generate a plurality of filter rules according to the network information and the application information. The filter module may receive the filter rules from the management module and allocate a plurality of out-of-order packets of the packets to different reorder queues according to the filter rules, wherein each reorder queue corresponds to a different reorder timer. The multi-reorder queue circuit includes the reorder queues. The multi-reorder queue circuit determines how to push each out-of-order packet to its corresponding application through a TCP/IP stack.
