    Abstract: A smart remote control system comprises a plurality of gateway devices and a central management device. The central management device includes an authority management module configured to be operable to select a registered account, to establish a management authority over one of the gateway devices for the selected account, and to generate a bar code corresponding to both of the selected account and the management authority. The bar code may be displayed on an electronic device and scanned by another electronic device for validation of the management authority.

    Abstract: A smart remote control system includes multiple terminals and a server. Each terminal is accessible by an electronic device through use of a registered account/password set. Upon receipt of an association request and a to-be-associated account/password set, one of the terminals is operable to transmit the to-be-associated account/password set to the server. In turn, the server determines whether the to-be-associated account/password set conforms with one of a plurality of user account/password sets stored therein, and enables the one of the terminals to be accessible by the electronic device through use of the to-be-associated account/password set when the determination is affirmative.

    Abstract: A device for monitoring power consumption includes a measuring unit, a wireless communication unit, and a shell unit. The measuring unit is for obtaining a set of current parameters of an electricity-consuming apparatus, and is operable to obtain power consumption information with reference to the set of current parameters. The wireless communication unit is operable to transmit the power consumption information. The shell unit includes a shell body and a set of connection ports. The shell body is formed with at least one opening. The set of connection ports is disposed at the at least one opening. The set of current measuring components is coupled to a processor via the set of connection ports, and is exposed from the shell body.

    Abstract: A dimmer device enables wireless control of intensity of light output of an electric light source and includes a light dimmer for coupling electrically with the light source. The light dimmer includes a power supply module for outputting a supply power, a dimmer module operable to vary the supply power to result in drive power that is supplied to the light source, a feedback module for generating a feedback signal in accordance with the drive power, the feedback signal corresponding to a current intensity of the light output of the light source, a wireless receiver unit for receiving a control signal from a remote controller and providing the control signal to the dimmer module for controlling the dimmer module to vary the supply power in accordance with the control signal, and a wireless transmitter unit for transmitting the feedback signal from the feedback module.
