摘要: An optical fiber feed-through connector for optically coupling an end portion of an optical fiber cable with a non-feed-through optical fiber connector includes a feed-through duct engaging portion having a body member and a compression fitting portion configured to radially compress a portion of the body member around the free end portion of the duct and a feed-through housing portion configured to be operatively coupled to the feed-through duct engaging portion so as to allow the end portion of the optical fiber cable to be slidingly fed through the feed-through housing portion. The feed-through engaging portion is configured to permit the end portion of the optical fiber cable to be slidingly fed through both the duct and the feed-through duct engaging portion, and the feed-through duct engaging portion and the feed-through housing portion are configured to permit the optical fiber cable to be pushed or pulled through the duct and the feed-through housing portion after the feed-through duct engaging portion is operatively coupled to the feed-through housing portion.

摘要: Examples of optical splitter systems, methods and modules enable the stacking and interconnecting of one or more optical splitter modules. One example of a splitter module has a housing and one or more connection members for connecting to adjacent instances of like splitter modules. The housing includes a plurality of cable ports providing access to an optical splitter storage area. Each connection member includes a tab and a slot, the tab configured to slidingly engage with the slot of an adjacent connection member. Sliding engagement of adjacent instances of splitter modules can form a stack of splitter modules along a stacking axis. In some cases a splitter module includes a latching mechanism to removably engage an adjacent splitter module. The latching mechanism can restrict sliding engagement and thus decoupling of the adjacent splitter modules.

摘要: A system includes an input and a plurality of outputs. The system also includes an in-home network adapter configured to connect to and be positioned between the input and the plurality of outputs. The system also includes a splitter configured to connect to and be positioned between the in-home network adapter and the plurality of outputs. The input is configured to receive signals in a cable television (CATV) bandwidth and signals in a multimedia over coax alliance (MoCA) bandwidth. The in-home network adapter is configured to allow the signals in the MoCA bandwidth to pass from the input to the plurality of outputs and from the plurality of outputs to the input. The in-home network adapter is configured to attenuate or prevent the signals in the CATV bandwidth from passing from the input to the plurality of outputs, from the plurality of outputs to the input, or both.

摘要: A Docsis-MoCA coupled line directional coupler includes an input port, an output port, a coupled port, and a termination port. A first track connects the input port to the output port and a second track, which may be substantially parallel to the first track, connects the termination port to the coupled port. The first track and the second track are configured to form a variable coupling length so as to control, for instance, an isolation level between the output port and the coupled port to be less than a predetermined isolation level in a MoCA frequency band.

摘要: A coaxial cable connector includes a nut housing having a rearward cable receiving end and a forward end opposite said rearward end, a front nut assembly coupled to the forward end of the nut housing, and a conductive metal tubular insert shaft supported within the nut housing or the front nut assembly. The front nut assembly includes an entry body housing and a conductive terminal pin extending from a forward end of the front nut assembly, and the conductive metal tubular insert shaft has a rearward end portion. A nonconductive plastic tubular support sleeve has a forward end portion coupled with the rearward end portion of the conductive metal tubular insert shaft, a tubular gripping ferrule radially surrounds the metal insert shaft and the plastic support sleeve, and a tubular outer sleeve radially surrounds at least a portion of said gripping ferrule. The gripping ferrule and the tubular outer sleeve are configured to be moved relative to one another in an axial direction such that the gripping ferrule and the tubular outer sleeve are configured to engage one another, thereby causing the gripping ferrule to radially compress around the conductive metal tubular insert shaft and the nonconductive plastic tubular support sleeve.

摘要: A torque-limiting torque sleeve may include an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve configured to be coupled to one another in a coaxial arrangement such that the outer sleeve is fixed relative to the inner sleeve in the longitudinal direction. A first end of the outer sleeve overlies a first end of the inner sleeve, and a second end of the inner sleeve extends from the outer sleeve. A torque limiting feature is configured such that rotation of the outer member in a first direction enables tightening of a coupler on an interface port up to a predetermined torque limit, and rotation of the outer member in a second direction opposite to the first direction loosens the coupler on the interface port.
