Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a passive, enhanced MoCA entry device. The entry device includes an entry port, a broadband port, high-band ports, and a filter device. The entry device also includes a broadband path connecting the entry port to the broadband port and a high-band path connecting the entry port to the plurality of high-band ports. The filter device generates a broadband signal and a high-band signal. The filter device provides the broadband signal to broadband port via the broadband path. And, the filter device provides the high-band signal to the high-band ports via the high-band path.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides network interface device including a circuit that, in a powered state, receives a downstream radio-frequency (RF) signal from a source via an entry port, provides a portion of the downstream RF signal to a first input/output port via a passive signal path, and provides a second portion of the downstream RF signal to a second input/output port via an active signal path. Abstract: A Docsis-MoCA coupled line directional coupler includes an input port, an output port, a coupled port, and a termination port. A first track connects the input port to the output port and a second track, which may be substantially parallel to the first track, connects the termination port to the coupled port. Abstract: An entry device includes an entry port, a filter connected to the entry port, a plurality of first output ports, and a plurality of second output ports. The second path is configured to prevent at least a portion of the CATV signals and at least a portion of the MoCA signals from passing therethrough. A third path extends from the first output ports, through the filter, to the second output ports. The third path is configured to pass the MoCA signals therethrough and to prevent at least a portion of the CATV signals from passing therethrough.
