摘要: The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for securely applying print to a web of continuous polymeric film. The web can first travel in a machine direction on a tensioning roller and onto a folding board whereupon the web is divided into first and second partial widths with a cross-section of the web taking on a U-shape or a V-shape. In between the cross-section of these two partial widths a printer can be placed such that the printer prints onto an inner surface of first partial width. Once the printing is complete, the folding of the web can be completed such that an inner surface of the second partial width is in contact with, covers, and protects the printed matter placed onto the first partial width.

The elastic drawstring trash bag features an integrated short seal comprising an inner seal, an outer seal, and an intermediate seal. The integrated short seal functions to reduce the upper opening of the drawstring trash bag, while the elastic drawstring utilized with the bag provides a bag that allows the bag to fit snugly on many common trash receptacles.

摘要: The present invention relates to improvements for the manufacturing of a wave-cut bag of polymeric film, more specifically a wave-cut bag with a body having improved shock, tear and puncture resistance. The polymeric film has an embossed pattern of a plurality of embossed regions that are comprised of a plurality of parallel, linear embosses. Further disclosed is a process for intermittently applying the embossed pattern to a collapsed tube of a blown film extrusion process. The collapsed tube with the intermittently applied embossed pattern is particularly well suited for constructing wave-cut trash bags with the embossed pattern applied to a central body of the wave-cut bags.

摘要: The present invention relates to a shipping container for rolled goods, particularly relatively heavy and rigid rolled products such as high count rolls of trash bags. In at least one embodiment, the shipping container may be used for shipping a product enclosure containing a pair of rolled trash bags. The shipping container can include a pair of opposing side reinforcing trays to prevent damage to the shipping container when in transit. The invention can conserve the amount of materials used and reduce the shipping weight of the container. The shipping container can further include a flexible overwrap to maintain the reinforcement trays on the opposing side ends of the product enclosure and to provide for additional reinforcement to the shipping container.
