摘要: A foundation for a bed system can include an actuator, a deck mechanism operably related to the actuator so as to be actuated between raised and lowered positions in response to actuation by the actuator, and a controller operably connected to the actuator and configured to drive the actuator to actuate the deck mechanism between a lower position and an upper position. The deck mechanism can be configured to move to a service position that is further than the upper position. The deck mechanism can expose and permit access to a serviceable component when the deck mechanism is in the service position. A method of using a foundation having a service position is also described.

摘要: Disclosed are techniques for generating sleeper information based on user data collected at a bed system. A system can include an edge computing device, service-providing servers, and a cloud-based computing system. The servers can execute models for determining particular sleeper information based on sensor signals generated by bed sensors. A first subset of servers run in a cloud-based system and a second subset run at the edge computing device. The cloud-based computing system can receive the sensor signals, receive a request to execute a model having a relationship with a server, wrap the model with model data, transmit the wrapped model and data to the server for execution, receive model output once the wrapped model is executed, and generate at least one health metric about a user of the bed system based on correlating the model output with other model outputs or other data about the user.

摘要: In one example, this disclosure describes a method including receiving, at a central controller of an air mattress system, a plurality of air pressure value, determining a plurality of average values using the plurality of the received air pressure values, calculating a difference value between a first one of the plurality of average values and a second one of the plurality of average values, comparing the difference value to a threshold value, determining, based on the comparison, whether a user of the air mattress system moved.

摘要: According to certain arrangements, a climate controlled bed includes an upper portion comprising a core with a top core surface and a bottom core surface. The core includes at least one passageway extending from the top core surface to the bottom core surface. The upper portion of the bed further includes at least one fluid distribution member positioned above the core, wherein the fluid distribution member is in fluid communication with at least one passageway of the core. The fluid distribution member is configured to at least partially distribute fluid within said fluid distribution member.

摘要: A bed system can have an adjustable foundation and a user interface having at least one adjustment bar. The user interface can be communicatively coupled to an actuation system of the adjustable foundation such that raising a foot portion of the at least one adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to raise a foot section of the adjustable foundation, raising a head portion of the adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to raise a head section of the adjustable foundation, lowering the foot portion of the adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to lower the foot section of the adjustable foundation, and lowering the head portion of the adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to lower the head section of the adjustable foundation.

摘要: A bed can include a mattress and a foot warming system. The mattress can include a mattress cover and a support structure that is positioned under and covered by the mattress cover. The foot warming system can include a heating unit an envelope, a power source, and an electrical connector electrically connecting the heating unit to the power source. The heating unit can be positioned inside the envelope between the envelope top and the envelope bottom. The heating unit and the envelope can be positioned at a foot of the bed under mattress cover between the support structure and the mattress cover.

摘要: An acoustic sensor is positioned in an environment and configured to generate a data stream responsive to acoustic energy in the environment. A controller is configured to receive the data stream. The controller is further configured to analyze the data stream to determine ambient acoustic signals. The controller is further configured to generate an ambient acoustic template based on the determined ambient acoustic signals. The controller is further configured to apply the ambient acoustic template to the data stream so that the ambient acoustic signals are suppressed in the data stream. The controller is further configured to analyze the data stream after the ambient acoustic signals are suppressed in order to determine if the acoustic energy in the environment includes acoustic energy of human snoring. The controller is further configured to issue a control signal to a second controller in order to engage a home automation device.
