    摘要： A low cost self-contained, direct-mail advertising booklet, particularly adapted to be a self-mailer type of booklet. A plurality of continuous strips or sheets of paper-like material are superposed and attached together to form a series of booklets in a continuous web. Personalized information such as a name, address, etc., is applied to a portion of the web or to a card or sheet or the like which is attached to the web. The web is folded so that the personalized information is used as a mailing address for the booklet. Separation of the booklet from the web may occur before or after folding occurs. The portion of each booklet which carries the personalized information may be readily removed from other portions of the booklet and placed in the mail by the receiver of the booklet to indicate his acceptance of an offer or the like set forth in the booklet.

    摘要： A succession of individual business forms are fed in a generally horizontal path by a set of burst rolls of a bursting machine, and the side edge portions of each form are directed by corresponding guide ramps into engagement with a pair of inclined cylindrical posts which are effective to curve each form in a lateral direction to increase the longitudinal rigidity of the form. The leading edge of each form is guided downwardly by a sloping guide member towards an adjustable platform which supports a stack of forms. Each of the inclined posts and the corresponding guide ramp are supported with an adjacent auxiliary support surface for lateral adjustment as a unit, and the sloping guide member is supported for pivotal movement in response to a build-up of a stack of forms on the platform.

    摘要： Pin belt mechanism for movement of a continuous strip or web which has pin feed holes. The belt is annular and the pins are attached thereto along the central portion thereof. The pins are easily and readily attached to the belt and removed therefrom. The belt during at least a portion of its movement engages a ramp which correctly directs each pin into a hole in the web for movement of the web. Each pin moves laterally in a substantially straight line as it assists in movement of the strip and is then removed from the hole.
