摘要: In a method computer storage element operation, first and second rising (or falling) clock edges are applied to first and second power inputs of the computer storage element having a transistor array between the first and second power inputs over time T1 whereupon a logic value applied to an input of the transistor array is stored therein. Thereafter, first and second falling (or rising) clock edges are applied to the first and second power inputs over time T2, whereupon part of an electrical charge or energy associated with the logic value stored in the transistor array is provided to circuitry that generates the first and/or second clock edge(s), wherein the value(s) of time T1 and/or time T2 is/are greater than a product of RC, where R is resistance associated with the computer storage element, and C is a load capacitance associated with the computer storage element.

摘要: Described herein is a bifurcated continuous field-flow fractionation (BCFFF) chip for high-yield and high-throughput nucleic acid extraction and purification. BCFFF uses a membrane ionic transistor to sustain low-ionic strength in a localized region at a junction, such that the resulting high field can selectively isolate high-charge density nucleic acids from the main flow channel and insert them into a standardized buffer in a side channel that bifurcates from the junction. The BCFFF platform can be used for isolation of both long dsDNAs and short miRNAs, without changing the device configuration or the operation protocol. BCFFF results in high-efficiency (>85%) concentration-independent DNA extraction and 40% net qRT-PCR miRNA yield from plasma, which is significantly higher than any other commercial liquid and solid extraction technologies.

摘要: A method for configuring a multiple autonomous drone mission includes displaying, a plurality of queries on a display of the computing device. The method further includes receiving, via a user interface, a plurality of inputs responsive to the plurality of queries. At least a first input of the plurality of inputs specifies a type of mission to be performed and at least a second input of the plurality of inputs specifies a geographical area in which a mission to be performed will be carried out. The method further includes automatically determining, based on the plurality of inputs, an initial location to move to for each of a plurality of drones available for implementing the mission. The method further includes automatically determining, based on the plurality of inputs, a series of tasks for each of the plurality of drones.

摘要: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving, by a first radio module at a first location, a wireless signal, to obtain a first received RF signal. The wireless signal includes information originating at a remote transmitter and conveyed via a wireless channel. An envelope of the first received RF signal is detected by the first radio module without requiring a local oscillator, to obtain a first baseband signal. The first baseband signal may be filtered and/or amplified, after which it is provided to a processor. The processor also obtains a second digital signal from a second radio module receiving the wireless signal at a second location and determines an estimate of the information originating at the remote transmitter according to the first and second signals. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: Described is a biosensor for detection of analytes and methods of using the same for detecting bacterial infection in a subject. The biosensor comprises an array of gold nanoparticles, biotinylated polyethylene glycol thiol, polyethylene glycol thiol, at least one neutravidin molecule, and at least one affinity reagent immobilized on a surface of the at least one neutravidin molecule. The affinity reagent may be an aptamer or a siderophore. The biosensors demonstrate extraordinary selectively and sensitivity for rapid detection of whole-cell bacteria.

摘要: The present invention relates to the general field of treatment of infectious diseases of mammals (humans and animals) caused by bacteria, in particular to the treatment of diseases like tuberculosis (TB), Buruli ulcer and leprosy caused by mycobacteria. The invention aims at the generation of a new series of benzothiazinone compounds having the potential to overcome the above mentioned problems.
