摘要： A tool with a handle having a main shaft extending from the handle that is angled to form a secondary shaft having a second end wherein the angle between the main shaft and the secondary shaft is such that when a person grips the handle the secondary shaft forms an angle with a ground surface that is substantially a right angle. The secondary shaft is adapted to mount a second shaft which may have either a two piece blade that is articulated on the secondary shaft with moveable attachments to form either a flat blade for pushing snow or a V-shaped blade for pushing through snow, where in either configuration, the snow blade is substantially completely in contact with the ground surface or a rake for moving outdoor debris.

摘要： Embodiments of the invention relate to a tool having a working head that is pivotally adjustable relative to an elongated shaft. The working head of the tool can be almost any type of tool including gardening tools (hoes, rakes, shovels, etc.) and cleaning tools (mops, brooms, squeegies, etc.). Embodiments of the invention can include an elongated shaft and a pivot arm, which is pivotally connected to one end of the shaft. Embodiments of the invention provide apparatus for allowing a user to pivotally adjust the angular orientation of the pivot arm relative to the elongated shaft, and also for substantially locking the pivot arm in place once the desired orientation is achieved. The pivoting tool according to the invention can pivot about 90 degrees in either direction from a central location in which the pivot arm is substantially aligned with the shaft.

摘要： A weeding tool with a combination of attachments integrated with a fulcrum to remove specific types of weeds based on their root structure. The attachments remove weeds whose roots are characterized as lengthy single-type roots, medium-depth bushy-hair type roots and near-surface vine-type roots. A fulcrum slidably attached to the tool handle ergonomically assists the gardener in extracting weeds by limiting angular rotation of the handle. The fulcrum may be used to apply foot pressure in penetrating hard soil. The fulcrum slides on the tool handle with respect to the end of the lifting blade to vary its penetration depth and is used for extracting single-type weed roots at different depths. The multiple-tine rake rotatably attached to the fulcrum is snapped into position and spring-biased to remain in position for extracting weeds having medium-depth bushy roots. The cultivator bar rotatably attached to the fulcrum is snapped into position for near-surface weed removal or general soil tilling. A crevice blade, rotatably attached to the fulcrum removes weeds between the gaps of patio paving blocks and the like, is snapped into position for this task. Most of these attachments can be combined onto one tool or other combinations integrated with the slidably attached fulcrum.

An extension handle has a relatively long front end engageable relatively far into this recess and is provided with a fixed ring formed with a multiple screwthread engageable with a similar formation inside the recess so that the two parts can be locked together by a single revolution relative to each other. At its rear end the extension handle is provided with a cap having a forwardly directed end and screwthread formations similar to that of the front and of the extension handle so that this cap can be placed on the rear end of the short handle of the tool if desired.
