Abstract: An exemplary plow includes a moldboard having a wear surface and a blade having a wear surface. A wear resistant coating is applied to at least a portion of at least one of the wear surfaces of the blade and moldboard. The wear resistant coating includes a plurality of scales. Each scale has a leading edge, a trailing edge, a raised portion disposed between the leading edge and the trailing edge, and a peak of the raised portion disposed closer to the trailing edge than the leading edge. The scales of the wear resistant coating are arranged in a plurality of rows, and gaps formed between scales in one row are offset from gaps formed between scales in an adjacent row.

Abstract: A plowing system is removably mountable onto a vehicle in order to provide the vehicle with lateral plowing capability along a given lateral range of the vehicle. The plowing system includes a mounting assembly, a plowing assembly and corresponding plowing component. The plowing system also has associated first and second actuating assemblies cooperable with one another so as to selectively operate the plowing component between retracted and deployed configurations, and so as to provide the plowing system and associated plowing assembly and corresponding plowing component with an increased plowing resistivity within the lateral range of the vehicle, due to a combined effect of the first and second actuating assemblies. A corresponding vehicle is provided with such a plowing system.

Abstract: A convertible snow plow comprises a support frame having a forward end and a rearward end, the rearward end adapted to be mounted to a vehicle, a pair of plow blades hinged together along inboard ends of the blades at a hinge at the forward end of the support frame, an actuator having opposite ends, one end connected to the support frame, and a two-position linkage connected to the other end of the actuator and to at least one of the blades. When the linkage is in the first position the blades are in a straight blade configuration and the actuator is operable to position the blades in straight blade forward, straight blade left, and straight blade right positions, and when the linkage is in the second position the blades are in a V-blade configuration and the actuator is operable to position the blades in forward swept V and rearward swept V positions.

Abstract: In some implementations, coupling system for rotatably coupling a moldboard of a snow wing assembly includes a hinge for rotatably coupling the moldboard to a linkage assembly to enable the moldboard to rotate in a first rotational direction, the hinge including a plate having a first face and a second face. The plate includes a first passageway extending between the first face and the second face to facilitate lubricant being supplied to a first interface between the plate and the moldboard. The coupling system may include a pin extending through the moldboard and the plate to rotatably couple the moldboard with the hinge. The pin enables the moldboard to rotate in a second rotational direction about a rotational axis defined by a body of the pin, and the body includes a second passageway extending from a bottom portion of the pin to an outer surface of the pin.

Abstract: A ride-on vehicle, such as a zero turn radius lawnmower, includes a main chassis having first and second pivot joints, a first rocker arm having a caster wheel on a first end portion and a drive wheel on a second end portion, and a second rocker arm having a caster wheel on a first end portion and a drive wheel on a second end portion, wherein the first rocker arm and the second rocker arm are independently pivotally coupled to the respective first and second pivot joints of the main chassis at a location between the caster wheels and the drive wheels. The ride-on vehicle may also include a modular mower deck assembly with a plurality of mower deck modules having a blade assembly, an electric blade motor configured to provide rotation to the blade assembly, and an attachment assembly configured to enable attachment between adjacent mower deck modules.
