摘要： Various embodiments include a device for selectively harvesting crops on a plant. The device can include a picking apparatus. The picking apparatus can be rotatable around a central axis. The picking apparatus can include a plurality of grippers each spaced apart and extending radially from the central axis, and each configured to pick a different individual one of the crops. Each of the plurality of grippers can be adjustable between an open position and a closed position. Each of the plurality of grippers can be configured in the open position to open around the individual crop. Each of the plurality of grippers can be configured in the closed position to securely hold the individual crop when the picking apparatus is rotated around the central axis. Other embodiments are provided.

摘要： A harvesting vehicle including a body including a plurality of picking systems configured to be carried over plants growing in one or more plant beds to harvest crops of the plants. Each picking system can include an imaging system and can be configured to (a) determine a height of the picking system over one of the one or more plant beds as the picking system is carried over the plants and (b) provide distance measurement data based on the height. The harvesting vehicle also can include a plurality of wheels each having a vertical position with respect to the body. The harvesting vehicle also can include a suspension control system configured to perform: receiving the distance measurement data from the plurality of picking systems; determining adjustment information for an adjustment of the vertical position of one or more of the plurality of wheels with respect to the body based at least in part on the distance measurement data provided by at least one of the plurality of picking systems; and controlling the adjustment of the vertical position of the one or more of the plurality of wheels with respect to the body based on the adjustment information. The bucket loader may include a pad, which may cushion the impact of vegetables, when transferring vegetables from a bucket to a conveyor. The conveyor may comprise transverse and longitudinal conveyor belts and/or rollers for delivering the vegetables to bins on a truck or flat bed trailer. The bucket loaders may be operatively coupled to a mechanism for raising and lowering the bucket loaders, intermittently or continuously. For example, a registration and tracking system keeps track of the number of buckets and/or amount of produce picked by a picker.

摘要： Machines and methods designed for use in harvesting vine-borne crops that is particularly suited for use in wet fields with narrow rows. The machines are relatively compact, and provide for vine borne crops to be severed, separated, cleaned and sorted along a straight path of a single vertical plane. The machines and methods incorporate a blower and adjustable conveyor system for efficient removal of unwanted dirt, trash, vegetation and debris from the crop without re-depositing such removed refuse on the cleaned crop. The machines and methods also provide an upward airstream that blows through the mesh/openings of the conveyors to provide agitation for recovery of additional crop from previously-shaken vines.

The invention rotates the primary and secondary eccentric weights at the same speed, but may on the fly, using a hydraulic rotary actuator, change the rotational phase between the primary and secondary eccentric weights, causing an on the fly change of amplitude of the inventive shaker. The invention also uses a rotary valve, that does not require high pressure bearings, and that provides damping of the control system.

The vines are allowed to fall out of the shaker brush to a shaker conveyor. 摘要： The upper run of a tomato harvester shaker chain is oscillated by a plurality of rotating arms which contact the chain along each side. Each arm is driven by a separate hydraulic motor, alternate motors along each side, and the motors driving the arms directly opposite one another on the two sides, being of different size or capacity to provide varying oscillatory speeds both along and across the chain. The motors along the two sides of the chain are connected in separate hydraulic series circuits, the flow rate through each circuit, and hence the speed of the motors thereof, being selectively controlled by variable speed control valves. Also, a hydraulic flow divider is preferably provided in the line between the pump and hydraulic motors to supply different proportions of the total flow to the groups of motors in each series circuit.

摘要： An improved tomato harvester separator of the type having lengthwise extending bars with lengthwise extending gaps between them, has series of slender resilient fingers extending in both directions from alternate ones of the bars. This placement of the fingers, with alternating fingerless bars adjacent to the rows of fingers, avoids the progression of the tomato plants and their tomatoes to one side of the separator during shaking and separation, and therefore is particularly useful in harvesters wherein the stream of separated tomatoes is divided to two sides of the machine.

摘要： A tomato harvesting machine for severing tomato bearing stalks with reciprocating cutter bars, elevating the stalks and tomatoes with an inclined conveyor, and separating the tomatoes and the stalks with shaker bars, inclined cleaning belts, and a debrisremoving fan. A first of the cleaning belts is positioned between the conveyor and the shaker bears to receive tomatoes previously separated from the stalks and reject soil early in the harvesting process. The second of the cleaning belts is located at an end of the shaker bars remote from the inclined conveyor to receive tomatoes subsequently separated from the stalks by the shaker bars. A transfer belt bridges the gap between the inclined conveyor and the shaker bars above the first cleaning belt to prevent entanglement of any vegetation in the shaker bar mechanism.
