In the presented solution, a garden tool includes a handle and a tool part, which handle is attached to the tool part to constitute a pulling handle. Then, the garden tool is mainly used by pulling from its handle. The handle includes an operating part which is grabbed when using the garden tool and a connecting part to attach the handle to the tool part. Between the operating part and the connecting part, there is an angle such that the axial direction of the operating part differs from the axial direction of the connecting part. The connecting part is further attached into connection with the tool part such that the connecting part is able to rotate around its axial direction in relation to the tool part.

An adjustable rake assembly for raking and baling material in a single pass is provided. In particular, a rake assembly is provided that includes a frame and two movable wings configured to be moved to at least one transport position, in which the wings are disposed proximate a main axial member of the frame in a folded arrangement. A rake assembly is also provided wherein at least one rake is configured to be moved with respect to the frame between a first position and a second position via a telescoping rake connection and a rotating rake connection. The position of the wings and/or rakes may be changed via a control system.

A multi-purpose tool includes, in one embodiment, an elongated pole and a head that are pivotally joined by a coupling mechanism. The head is a unitary member that includes a semi-circular edger plate and a comb-like rake. The coupling mechanism includes a pivot screw pivotally connecting the pole to the gardening head, a lock rod extending longitudinally through the elongated pole, and a pull cam mounted within one end of the hollow pole, the pull cam being threadingly coupled to one end of the lock rod. By disposing the gardening head in a variety of fixed positions relative to the pole, a plurality of distinct gardening instruments can be created. Locking the position of the gardening head relative to the elongated pole is achieved through rotation of a handle that is mounted onto the free end of the pole, the handle being connected to the free end the lock rod.

An implement is disclosed for use in smoothing disturbed ground. More specifically, a rake is shown for use at golf course sand traps having disturbed surfaces. The rake has a handle and a rake head is attached to the rake handle. The rake head presents a plurality of tines that extend from the rake head and are used to smooth disturbed ground. A spike is carried by the rake head and is used to position the rake near a sand trap in a generally vertical storage position so as to minimize interference with golf play.

An improved windrow yard rake useful for the raking of leaves, garden debris and the like. The rake has an adjustable drawbar to allow for the angling of the partially cylindrical main rake body so that the accumulated debris will circulate to the outermost end of the rake relative to the operator. The drawbar is also vertically adjustable in order to achieve a comfortable angle of approach to the operator. Wheels are attached to the top rear corner of the main rake body in such a way that if the rake is turned over on its top the rake is easily transported by rolling it on the wheels. Four pockets are provided on the rear of the rake to allow for weighted materials to be deposited in order to increase the overall weight of the rake itself. A lid is also provided to prevent loss of weighted materials upon transporting the rake via the wheels.

A broom rake convertible from a relatively wide lawn-type rake to a relatively narrow shrub-type rake. The rake has a center section and two foldable end sections hinged to opposite sides and selectively movable between an open position extending outwardly from the center section to provide a relatively wide raking span, and a closed position folded rearwardly over the center section to provide a relatively narrow raking span. In the folded condition, the raking span is limited to the width of the center section for convenient use in confined spaces such as around bushes and shrubs.
