    摘要： A vacuum-cleaning apparatus for a stable, the apparatus adapted for being towed behind a powered vehicle having a power take off unit and including a two-wheel trailer; a tank with an air-tight cavity mounted on the trailer; a hydraulic pump powered by the power take off unit of the powered vehicle; a vacuuming unit powered by a hydraulic motor and having a vacuum input and a conduit connecting the vacuum input to the tank cavity, a debris-removing unit having an intake unit with a scoop element and a hand-operated handle with rotating tines powered by the hydraulic motor and having a first vacuum hose connecting the intake unit to the tank cavity; and a debris-scattering unit powered by the hydraulic motor, including a conveyor for scattering debris rearwardly and an auxiliary scattering portion for scattering debris transversely behind the trailer. The apparatus may also include a hand-held rake with hollow tines connected to the tank cavity.

    摘要： An attachment for use with litter removal machines such as are used in poultry houses. The attachment includes a blade that can be mounted on a litter removal machine to direct litter accumulated on poultry house floors near the walls into the path of the machine. The blade extends outwardly from one side of the machine at an angle between about 5.degree. to 85.degree. from the perpendicular in a direction away from the clean machine. Preferably, the blade is retractable such that when the cleaning machine is not being used to clean along the walls of a chicken house, the blade can be folded back along the side of the machine and locked into position then. The blade can have several elongated apertures for allowing the finer particles of litter to pass through the blade, while the caked and crusted litter is kept within the confines of the blade.

    摘要： A device for separating and dehydrating droppings includes a body having two walls and a bottom which includes a meshed portion and a plain portion connected to one of two ends of the meshed portion. A first shaft and a second shaft are respectively and transversely disposed between the two walls, wherein the first shaft is driven by a first motor. A loop-shaped member is reeved through the first and the second shaft and has a plurality of plates transversely disposed thereto which are moved on an upper surface of the bottom. A hydrating device is disposed to the first end of the body and includes tube with an inlet and an outlet. The tube has a screw member rotatably disposed therein driven by a motor on a first end thereof and has a cap pivotally disposed to a second end thereof. The tube further has a slotted portion defined in an under periphery thereof.

    摘要： A self-propelled stall cleaning apparatus has a frame assembly, a pair of drive wheels, a motor attached to the assembly for driving the drive wheels and a motor driven collector head. The collector head has a pivoting fork with tines for collecting manure and debris. The fork picks up the manure and debris and tosses it onto a sifting conveyor. The sifting conveyor separates the manure from the bedding and delivers the manure to a lift conveyor which drops the manure into a collection bin. The collection bin is moveable from a stowed position to a dumping position and then back to a stowed position.

    摘要： A poultry house has a floor with a surface area. Litter covers substantially the entire surface area of the floor. A nourishment dispensing device, which is preferably a water trough or other watering device, is preferably positioned above the floor and litter in a nourishment area. A platform is located in the nourishment area above the litter and floor, and below the nourishment dispensing device. The platform is preferably comprised of a grate or a series of slats, and preferably extends throughout substantially the entire nourishment area. The platform is constructed with through-holes or slits which are structured to allow liquids, such as, to pass through the platform to the litter below. However, the through-holes or slits are not so large as to allow the feet of chicken or other poultry from passing there through to make contact with the wet litter below.
