The device has the ability to capture and kill viruses, germs and bacteria that emanate from the cough as one suffers the effects of respiratory infections. 摘要： An adjustable fastener includes a male part and a female part, both of which are preferably made of soft pliable, sewable plastic. The female fastener part preferably has two or more spaced apart openings. Each having a broad portion and a narrow portion. The male fastener part has a base with an upstanding riser with a flange at the end of the riser. The female fastener part is made of a single thin wall which is sewn to the fabric of the garment. The base of the male part is also made of a single thin wall which is sewn to the fabric of the garment. The single wall construction of the female fastener part makes it more flexible, less easily seen, and not felt so much by the wearer. The female fastener part is provided with a bend between the openings so that it lies flat against the back when the male and female parts are coupled to the tightest position. The center of the riser of the male part is offset from the center of the flange. This allows the flange to be made larger and the narrow portion of each opening in the female part to be made smaller.

摘要： A hook and eye fastener for securing two pieces of a garment together includes a hook part for mounting on one of the pieces and an eye part for mounting on of the other of the pieces. The eye part comprises a frame having an open mouth defined by a circumferential lip. The lip has a pair of slots formed therein. The hook part comprises a body and arm. The arm comprises an inner portion connected to the body and an outer portion connected to inner portion. A plurality of ribs are provided along the rear surface of the inner portion and a pair of divider walls are provided along the front surface of the inner portion, nestled below the outer portion. The divider walls project forwardly for location in the slots of the lip. The fastener is relatively slim, easy to use, and capable of withstanding high tensile forces.

摘要： Bras and methods of forming bras suitable for nursing activities and closure assemblies that are convenient to manipulate. The bra assembly includes a pair of breast cups that are secured to a torso band. A first closure assembly is disposed between each breast cup and the torso band and extends in a lateral direction generally below a respective breast. A second closure assembly includes first and second portions that are each secured to a respective breast cup. The first and second portions of the second closure removably cooperate with one another such that each breast can be selectively exposed by lateral outward translation of the respective breast cup. Another aspect of the invention includes a closure assembly that reduces the number of clasp associations that must be manipulated to effectuate the opening/closing of the bra assembly.

摘要： A medical compression garment is provided including a midline opening cut in a medial segment of the elastic garment, dividing its front fabric portion into first and second sections. Fasteners, such as hook-and-loop fasteners, are attached to the first and second sections which connect together to close the opening. Pulls may be included. To don the garment, a wearer places their legs into the garment and pulls the garment along the legs until its top is aligned with the groin. The wearer then inverts and pulls the first and second sections of the garment together and fastens them to close the opening. Afterwards, the wearer pulls up the garment until it reaches the waist. When the wearer subsequently wants to take off the garment, the wearer unfastens the first and second sections and pull the garment down from the waist. The garment thus facilitates the donning and removal process.
