摘要:
A fully fashion knitwear made by using a method for generation of contour fit three-dimensional (3D) fully fashion knitwear pattern based on 3D body data of an individual. The method comprises the following steps: digitizing an individual to create a 3D body data cloud; automatically recognizing body landmarks; extracting the body measurements; calculating the garment pattern block of the digitized surface of the individual according to the extracted body measurements including geodesic (minimal distance) measurements; transforming the garment block to 3D weft knitwear pattern by introducing horizontal and/or vertical darts; and translating the modified knitwear pattern to knitting diagrams and/or instructions, which can then be transferred manually to knitwear CAD system to control the automatic knitting machine to knit the required knitwear.

Embodiments of a shape measurement system and related methods are disclosed. In some embodiments, the system places a two-dimensional initial pattern, which can be implemented as a standalone molding or can be attached to a light source or printed on an outfit, onto a surface of a three-dimensional object. The system captures a transformed version of the initial pattern in two dimensions that is distorted due to the varying depth of the surface. The system then analyzes the transformed pattern and derives three-dimensional information regarding the target object. The analysis, which can incorporate a calibration process, can rely on the projection nature of the light source, the isomorphism/non-isomorphism of the initial pattern, and other factors.

A method for manufacturing a garment includes creating a database of various body types, the database including variances within a selected body type. After the body type variance is selected the garment is prepared including a pant, skirt, t-shirt or the like. In creating a jean a cup is provided within the buttocks of the wearer to enable the fullness of the buttocks to reside therewithin. The database may be used to prepare it is possible articles of manufactures such as seating which is contoured to the body of the driver.

The method and device are used for at least regional determination of an outer contour of a body. For this purpose, a contour element is used which can be formed at least regionally according to an outer contour of the body. The shape of the contour element in a state formed by the body is stored by modifying at least one material property of the contour element. After elastic removal of the contour element from the body, another manipulation of the contour element is carried out in such a way that the shape of the contour element in the state formed by the body is determined by evaluating the modified material property.

The present invention relates to methods of fitting for pre-fabricated compression garments via digital imaging of a wearer body part and measurement of body part circumferences and, optionally, lengths therefrom. The present invention also relates to methods of generating a shape description derived from digital imaging of a patient body part or body area of interest and use of such shape description. Such shape description includes geometric information from which measurement information can optionally be derived. Included herein are methods for diagnosing and monitoring edema and other conditions in patients using shape descriptions acquired from a patient in need of such diagnosis and monitoring. The invention also includes use of the generated shape descriptions to make compression garments specifically configured for a patient's body part or body area. Compression garments generated from the generated shape descriptions are also included herein.

Systems and methods are provided for designing garments from software templates and a software toolkit, drafting garment patterns from body photographs and garment style drawings, and for creating adjustable pattern style drawings and for drafting garment patterns from the pattern style drawings. The garment patterns are adjusted by measurements from two-dimensional images and body part circumferences of a three-dimensional body. After obtaining the measurement the system preferably automatically makes such adjustments. The system includes a content generation side which creates pattern styles of garments. The system also includes a user-side through which a user generates a body outline and interacts with the previously generated content to draft garment patterns that are fully customized.

Aspects of the present disclosure provide computer implemented techniques to generate textile patterns that are optimized according to a predicted fabric behavior in different orientations. By orienting a “bias” of a fabric based on a number of textile panels being produced from the fabric, the textile panels can be configured to take full advantage of the fabric's properties. Orientation parameters for positioning the panels may be calculated to maximize the number of panels that can be cut from the fabric. Automatic adjustments may be made to the parameters by analyzing the fabric's constraints. The user can also input these constraints and an amount of desired stretch in specific areas of the fabric. A mechanism may also be employed to create a 3D model covered by the fabric in order to further adjust the fabric's orientation.
