    摘要: There is provided a cap, which is one part of a button fastener. The cap comprises a bottom and a circumferential side rising from an edge of the bottom. The cap is composed of an inner layer made of aluminum or aluminum alloy as a first material and an outer layer made of copper or copper alloy as a second material. The first and second layer are laminated on each other continuously across the bottom and the circumferential side. A Vickers hardness of the second material may be harder than a Vickers hardness of the first material. A tensile strength of the first material may be less than 260 N/mm2, and a tensile strength of the second material may be equal to or higher than 260 N/mm2.

    摘要: An antibacterial composition is formed from a polymer matrix that includes silver nanoparticles. The antibacterial composition can be used to provide surfaces that are to be touched. The antibacterial composition is particularly useful for forming cases for handheld electronic devices such as mobile telephones, smartphones, tablet computers, remote controls, and game controllers. A method of manufacturing items formed the composition can create materials with homogenously dispersed silver nanoparticles. Another process can be used to add antibacterial properties to existing surfaces.

    摘要: A button comprises a button body (10, 10a, 10b) and a prong (20, 20a, 20b) adapted to be arranged on the side of cloth (30) opposite to the side thereof on which the button body mentioned above is set in place to nip the cloth therebetween and to fixedly secure the button body to the cloth. The button body mentioned above contains an outer shell member (13), which comprises a button back (15, 15a, 15b) and a cap (14, 14a, 14b), and an insert (11, 11a, 11b) accommodated in the outer shell member. In order to make a whitish button which could be heretofore obtained only by plating, at least the button back mentioned above is made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy. Preferably, the button back mentioned above is made of an aluminum alloy containing 3-6% by weight of magnesium, and the cross-sectional thickness of the above-mentioned button back is in the range of 0.25-0.6 mm. Further, it is desirable that the above-mentioned cap and the insert should also be made of an aluminum alloy.

    摘要: The tactile feedback magnetic closure device disclosed herein may include a pair of magnets having distinct tactile components that indicate to a user which magnet should be placed outside of the other for proper alignment of clothing flaps. These tactile components may vary, as desired, but may generally include a protrusion, or arrangement of protrusions, or a depression, or arrangement of depressions, in or attached to the magnets themselves. The tactile feedback magnetic closure device may include any appropriate magnetic, resilient, waterproof, and heat-resistant material and may be attached to, or integrated into, an article of clothing. The device is designed to overcome the shortcomings in the prior art, which specifically include the lack of ability to determine that the magnetic closure is correctly aligned when the user cannot visually confirm its alignment.
