    摘要: A depilating apparatus has a depilator head (1) comprising a series of movable blades (7) arranged in pairs for forming a plurality of tweezers for gripping and pulling out the hairs to be eliminated. The depilator head is linked with a mechanical drive adapted for imparting thereto a translational movement, substantially along a plane (X-X') parallel to the plane defined by the free edges of the movable blades (7) forming the gripping tongs, and for further imparting thereto, during this translational movement, a movement of retraction away from this plane (X-X'), this latter movement taking place along an axis (Z-Z') perpendicular to this plane. There is further an actuator for driving the movable gripping blades (7) so as to effect the closing of the pinching tongs before the beginning of the retraction movement of the depilator head, and to cause these tongs to open and to remain open until they are closed again before the next retraction of the depilator head.

    摘要: A tweezer useful for plucking hair comprising a housing; arms extending out of the housing and having jaws for grasping a hair to be plucked; first means for closing the arms around the hair until the hair is grasped between the jaws; second means for automatically retracting the arms into the housing after the hair has been grasped between the jaws; means mounted for movement along the housing, whereby a first movement thereof causes the first means to close the arms around and grasp the hair between the jaws, and a second movement thereof, in the same direction as the first movement, causes the second means to retract the arms into the housing, thereby plucking the hair; and means for automatically returning the arms to their unretracted and unclosed position.

Two elongate flexible elements (311) form a twined section (304) between their first and second ends (303), (305) that are secured to the two arms (302). A movable member (306) extends outwardly from the base member (301) and is movable relative to the base member (301) in forward and reverse strokes. The movable member (306) urges the twined section (304) to move forward during the forward stroke and releases the twined section (304) to resiliently retract during the reverse stroke. The twined section (304) can engage and uproot hair (314) during the forward stroke.
