摘要： A suspension therapy apparatus features a hammock formed from a rectangular textile modified at its long edges with a first and second plurality of attachment loops. The hammock suspends from a support with suspension hardware that permits the hammock to swing back and forth and rotate 360 degrees. One or more safety straps weave through and removably attach to one or more loops among the pluralities of attachment loops on the textile according to specified patterns to accommodate patients who wish to sit or lay in the hammock and to prevent patients from falling or becoming entangled in the straps. Additional optional features include a pulley system that allows a therapist to raise and lower the hammock as needed, an integrated or removable seat, and anchor points for securing the hammock with ties to fixed points on the ground or frame.

摘要： A stand for a hanging item, such as a hanging chair, includes a base leg extending in a substantially two dimensional pattern defining an interior space. A support arm is secured to an end of the base leg and extends upwardly from the base leg with an end portion extending over the interior space defined by the base leg and terminating in a support end positioned over the interior space to suspend the item to be hung over the interior space. The stand may be conveniently formed from a plurality of component pieces, at least one end of each component piece being secured to an abutting end of another component piece to assemble the stand. Respective abutting ends may be scalloped to mate together in a limited number of orientations with respect to one another to aid assembly. Curved scallops can make the connections between pieces harder to see.

摘要： A hunter's tree stand includes a vertically elongated rigid frame assembly including upper and lower tree contacting standoff points. An elongated inelastic band member encircles the tree in a horizontal plane disposed vertically intermediate the standoff points and connects to the frame assembly at each end thereof. A binder coacts with the band member to effect a predetermined shortening of the band member when a binder actuator element is displaced from a first position to a second position to displace the center portion of the frame inwardly and thereby resiliently preload tension within the band member independently of loading of the tree stand. The tree standoff points are configured to limit their penetration into the tree. The binder can be locked with the actuator element in its second position to deter unauthorized removal of the tree stand.
