Abstract:
An expandable stand-alone shelving assembly includes a post assembly and an expandable shelf. The post assembly includes an elongated post and a sleeve coupled to the elongated post. The expandable shelf includes an aperture, a first half, a second half, and an internal mechanism. The aperture accepts the sleeve of the post assembly. The first half of the expandable shelf includes a surface, a top end, and a bottom end. The second half of the expandable shelf includes an angled portion extending downwards from a surface of the second half. The internal mechanism includes a reinforcement bar connecting the top end and the bottom end of the first half, and a stop. The second half is slidably received within the first half. The stop of the internal mechanism engages with the angled portion of the second half to prevent the second half and first half from sliding apart.
Abstract:
An improved sleeve for a shelving unit having an annular collar wedge the sleeve against a post, wherein the sleeve has one of a retaining wall encircling the bottom of the sleeve or a retaining latch extending from a bottom of the sleeve, both to position and retain the collar during assembly and to support the collar during use.
Abstract:
An equipment rack, a bracket for mounting on the equipment rack, and associated methods. The bracket includes a bracket body including a mounting section configured to mount equipment on the bracket. The bracket is configured to engage the frame assembly and form a releasable snap-fit connection with the frame assembly. The bracket can be configured to form mating connections with the frame assembly different than the snap-fit connection.
Abstract:
A utility cart has four corner posts arranged in rectangular pattern and at least one lower shelf including a recess in the push side edge and a top shelf that, instead of the recess, includes a handle. The other three sides of each of the shelves are substantially the same size and extend beyond the corner posts. The bottom of each of the shelves may include a wagon wheel structure in each corner which secures and supports the corner posts of the cart.
Abstract:
A shelf apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention includes first and second upstanding posts each having a plurality of horizontally-extending grooves in an external surface thereof, the grooves spaced vertically from one another. First and second shelf support clamps are supported by the first and second posts, respectively. The clamps each have a clamp body received only partially about its corresponding post, and the clamps each include a horizontally-extending protuberance such as a rib received in one of the grooves of its respective post. The apparatus further includes first and second shelf brackets supported by the first and second clamps, respectively, and a shelf supported by the first and second shelf brackets.
Abstract:
A shelving system having a top, bottom and intermediate shelves mounted on vertical supports. The intermediate shelves are mounted on adjustable brackets that permit individual removal of the intermediate shelves without disturbing the top and bottom shelves. The adjustable brackets comprise at one end a pin that is adapted to be inserted into a series of apertures formed along the length of each support. Opposite the pin, a mounting member is sized and shaped to receive a corner of each shelf. A stop is formed on the bracket between the pins and mounting member.
Abstract:
A shelf support system including a collet lock for engaging a hole in the shelf post for arresting downward movement of a shelf support collar on the post.
Abstract:
An article support rack with accessorial article support racks directly assembled therewith includes a main article support rack, at least one conical lantern ring and at least one accessorial article support rack with split rings. Several flutes are defined in the support legs of the main article support rack. The conical lantern ring consists of two taper-collets and at least one protuberant rib is formed on an inner wall of the taper-collets so that the flutes engage with the ribs when two taper-collets are assembled to be a conical lantern ring around the support leg of the main article support rack, thereby achieving the function of stopping slip up and down. Since the accessorial article support rack can be assembled directly to the main article support rack without disassembling the main article support rack in advance, the extension function of the article support rack is greatly improved.
Abstract:
A modular rack for storing gas cylinders includes a plurality of vertical posts spaced from one another. A plurality of sleeves are removably sleeved onto the posts. At least one tray is removably attached to this post and sleeves. The tray includes a plurality of cradles, or spaced apart beams, adapted to at least partially retain a horizontally positioned gas cylinder therein.
Abstract:
A shelf includes a plurality of support stands each having a periphery formed with a plurality of elongated flanges. Each of the flanges has two opposite sides each formed with a reduced neck. Thus, the flanges of each of the support stands are combined with the netted racks in various different angles, so that the angle and mode of assembly of the shelf can be changed arbitrarily so as to fit the requirement of different sites, such as the house, the exhibition place or the like, thereby enhancing the versatility of the shelf.
