摘要： A reversible modular framing system that can be used with existing frame moulding comprising of a mounting fixture and reversible board. The mounting fixture is inserted in a conventional frame and contains a pocket sized to fit the reversible board. The reversible board may have an image mounted on either of its sides. The reversible board can be accessed from the front of the frame assembly and allows a user to easily switch images either by switching the sides of the board or placing an alternate board on the mounting fixture.

摘要： A front loading frame on rail display system includes a support rail assembly secured to a wall and a display frame assembly secured to the support rail. The rail assembly includes a wall rail secured to the wall with a top rail secured thereto and receiving an apron crown molding. The frame assembly includes a frame unit formed by top and side frame members and closed by a back panel. The frame members have notched glass clips which are aligned in a plane. Display materials are front loaded into the frame unit, and a glass pane is slid into the clips. Fasteners extending from the side frame members are received in rotary lock members positioned in the top rail. The lock members are rotated to lock positions to engage heads of the fasteners to removably secure the frame assembly to the rail assembly.

摘要： A picture frame assembly comprises a first background panel for affixation to a wall surface, the panel having at least one aperture for releasable insertion of a picture frame therein. Tabs on the rear of the frame releasably secure the frame to slots in the panel for display of the frame in a wall hanging mode. Molding about the frame overlies the defining edge of the panel aperture. Removal of the tabs from the panel slots allows the frame to be disengaged from the panel. A leg on the rear surface of the removed frame supports the removed frame on a horizontal surface. The assembly thus presents structure allowing for picture display in wall mounted or stand alone modes.

A display item (28) such as a picture, photograph, certificate, document, or the like is front-loaded into the frame (10) by insertion of the corners of the display item (28) into slots (50). The display item (28) is thus held against the back plate (26) and bounded by the outer margin (24). A flexible transparent sheet (30) fits over the top of the display item (28) and is inserted into the slots (50) in like manner. The frame (10) has a bracket (44) such that the frame (10) may be mounted upon a horizontal surface such as a table, desk, counter or the like. The bracket may be inserted into different sockets (36), (38), (40), and (42) to change the orientation of the display item (28). The frame (10) may also be mounted upon a vertical surface such as a wall by use of either of holes (35), (37), (39), (41), depending upon the desired orientation of the display item (28) a magnet (64) or suction cup (68) may also be used for mounting upon other types of vertical surfaces.
