In embodiments, the olfactory-active substance is provided by use of a reservoir containing the olfactory-active substance which can be provided to at least a portion of the tree by capillary action, gravitational force, or by an electric pump. In embodiments, an olfactory-active substance is integral to the material components of the tree which have been suitably treated, coated or amalgamated with one or more olfactory-active substances.

摘要： A scent dispersing device for use with an artificial tree having a hollow trunk, the device comprising a disk comprising a container for housing a replaceable fragrance cartridge and an energizable heater in communication with the cartridge. When the heater is energized, the cartridge emits a fragrance through openings in the disk. The invention comprises a motorized fan, such that when the fan operates, air is forced into the hollow trunk and through at least one disk located at the bottom or between sections of the assembled trunk and fragrance is forced through openings in the disk or holes in the trunk. The invention includes a tree stand that houses a fan, lighting, and audio each wired to a control panel and timer connected to an energy source.

摘要： A decorative three-dimensional figure or other shaped object clad in a transparent, synthetic plastic film conforming to the contours of the object and exuding a fragrance whose scent is appropriate to the nature of the object. Thus when the object is a Christmas tree ornament, the fragrance may then simulate the aroma of pine needles. To clad the object it is first enveloped in a foraminated sheet of shrink wrap film that is impregnated with a volatile liquid fragrance, the sheet then being heated to cause it to shrink and conform to the contours of the object whereby the clad object then proceeds to emit the fragrance for a prolonged period.

摘要： A scented Christmas tree ornament intended for support on Christmas trees of the live or artificial type and wherein the ornament consists of a top section and a bottom section which are detachably threaded together and which define a hollow compartment interiorly thereof, the side walls of the ornament being provided with a multiplicity of small holes and perforations in communication with the compartment, and with the bottom section having supported therein a pedestal type stand with a cup at the top thereof adapted to receive therein a capsule of pine-scented liquid with the capsule being broken so that the liquid is contained in the cup and with the pine scent thereof emanating through the compartment and out of the holes and perforations into the surrounding atmosphere to provide a natural pine scent to the surrounding atmosphere.

摘要： An electrically activated aromatic ornament (1, 9, 20, 28 and 29) has a wreath shaped structure in which an electrical heater (2) activates a volatile aromatic material (30) to cause incense gases to be exhausted through selective orifices (22 and 24) proximate decorative objects. Electrical power can be provided through such limited power electrical conductors as Christmas tree light cords (5 and 6) for hanging small sizes of this aromatic ornament on Christmas trees or on other fragile objects. Electrical power can be provided also through standard extension cords (31 and 32) for larger sizes to be hung on larger and more sturdy structures. Decorative items such as natural leaves, flowers, ribbons and artificial plants can be attached to some embodiments of this invention.
