    摘要: A bicycle braking and parking device includes a casing, two brake pads, a locking pin, and an electromagnetic driver. The casing has an accommodation space and two pistons located at two opposite sides of the accommodation space. The accommodation space can accommodate part of a brake disk. The brake pads are located at the accommodation space and located between the pistons. The pistons can push the brake pads, and the brake pads can clamp the brake disk. The locking pin is movably disposed on the casing. The electromagnetic driver can force the locking pin to move between a released position and a locked position. when the locking pin is in the released position, the locking pin is separated from the brake disk. When the locking pin is in the locked position, the locking pin is inserted into the brake disk to limit a motion of the brake disk.

Applying an electric pulse to at least one electro-permanent magnet of the plurality of electro-permanent magnets changes a magnetic state of the electro-permanent magnet, thereby (i) generating an external magnetic field that traverses the gap between the first disk and the second disk and interacts with a corresponding ferromagnetic element of the plurality of ferromagnetic elements, and (ii) causing the second disk to rotate as the first disk rotates.

    摘要: An electromagnetic clutch includes an armature to be attracted to a rotor, an armature hub formed on one end portion of a rotating shaft, and a leaf spring which connects the armature to the armature hub and biases the armature away from the rotor. The leaf spring includes a base fixed to the armature hub, a stopper connected to the base, and a connecting piece surrounding the stopper by projecting outside from the base, and fixed to the armature. A through hole into which a rivet for fixing the base to the armature hub is inserted is formed in the base. A low-strength portion having strength lower than that in the periphery of the through hole is formed in a boundary portion between the base and a connecting portion.

    摘要: A magnetically hinged, overrunning clutch is disclosed. Sprags containing rare-earth permanent magnets, and arranged in pairs of opposite magnetic orientation, are located within the gap between the inner surface of a hollow, circularly cylindrical shaft and the external surface of a smaller diameter, second circularly cylindrical shaft. Pairs of rare-earth permanent magnets encircling the second cylindrical shaft are located at, or just beneath, the surface of the shaft and are arranged in pairs having alternating magnetic orientation. The sprags are cylinders having a pseudo-spiral cross-section and are sized, and the ferromagnetic region located, such that when the sprags are attracted to the shaft-magnets, the first shaft may be rotated with respect to the second shaft in a first, overrunning direction of rotation, but the first shaft does not rotate with respect to the second shaft in an opposite, or lock-up direction.
