    摘要: Safe lifting devices configured for lifting of a fallen patient from a surface and for a transport of the patient are disclosed herein. The devices comprise a class 1 lever including two larger wheels disposed about parallel at a fulcrum of the lever with each of the two larger wheels having shorter load leverage arms and longer effort leverage arms extending radially outward and defining a lever angle of greater than 90°. Each of the larger wheels disposed at the fulcrum includes a smaller rolling wheel attached to each larger wheel by an axle and a medium rolling wheel attached to each larger wheel by a different axle. When an operator pulls down the longer effort leverage arms the patient is safely lifted.

The support structure includes a tube bent into a shape described by way of a reference frustum such as a four-sided truncated pyramid. Each side of a top rectangular perimeter of the frustum is shorter than a corresponding side of the bottom rectangular perimeter, and each parallel side of a first trapezoidal perimeter of the frustum is shorter than a corresponding parallel side of a second trapezoidal perimeter. The reference frustum has a height between 10 and 18 inches, the top rectangular perimeter has a length between 10 and 16 inches and a width between 6 and 14 inches, and the bottom rectangular perimeter has a length between 12 and 18 inches and a width between 8 and 16 inches.

    摘要: The ambulatory stretcher with patient lifting measures enables a patient to be loaded onto the ambulatory stretcher without moving. The ambulatory stretcher with patient lifting measures includes an outer frame that includes an opening, and which is adapted to be placed onto the ground immediately surrounding a patient. The outer frame includes a pair of patient-conveying members that extend and retract to close off or open up the opening in the outer frame. The patient-conveying members are able to extend underneath a patient while said patient is lying on the ground surface. Moreover, the patient-conveying members are able to load the patient onto the assembly without requiring any movement of the patient with respect to the ground surface.

    摘要: A medical emergency portable lift chair assembly adapted to be tiltably wheeled through a doorway and to safely, slowly lift a person off of the ground. It may be powered through a supplied DC battery or through an AC power source. The unit is capable of lifting several hundred pounds up to a safe seating height. It utilizes a high torque linear actuator mounted onto a base frame that raises or lowers a ram coupled to a moveable platform by a pair of redundant pulley arrangements. The base frame sits directly on the floor when the chair assembly is not being wheeled to provide support for the load to be raised. The moveable platform descends to the floor within the framework of the base frame and has a thin graspable chair affixed thereto that resides approximately no more than ¾″ off the floor. A person who has fallen and cant get up may bring themselves in proximity to the chair either frontwards or rearwards, scoot themselves partially on the chair or grasp the chair, and then their weight can be safely raised off of the ground.

    摘要: A portable, powered lifting chair provides a means with which to easily lift and transport a fallen person, with safety for both the fallen person and the attendant. A single attendant can operate the present invention, negating the need for multiple attendants to lift a single person. The lifting seat is battery powered allowing for remote operation and, when combined with a variable speed hand controller, allows for an adjustable lifting speed suitable for any scenario. The seat lifts to a height of 39″, allowing it to be used to not only transport patients to a bed or a chair, but also to transition them from a prone position to a standing position. The combination of linear bearings, linear rail, and a linear actuator attached directly between the lifting seat and the seat frame serve to ensure the lifting seat does not become misaligned or improperly tilted during use. With the frame on casters, it is highly maneuverable and able to be used in tight confines.
