    摘要: A method of fabricating a rope that can serve as both a resistance band, jump or rolling rope includes the steps of: (a) braiding a plurality of elastic tubes into a braided rope which has two ends, (b) forming a loop at each of these ends, (c) securing each of these loops to this braided rope with a knot or a zip tie, (d) attaching a handle to this braided rope proximate each of these ends, (e) wherein these elastic tubes are: (i) fabricated from materials in the group including a latex rubber and a non-latex, synthetic rubber, (ii) selected from the group including those having differing diameters, wall thicknesses, and weights per linear foot, and (iii) selected to makeup a specific, braided rope having a specified elasticity and weight per linear foot.

    摘要: A lower body garment with an integrated resistance band is an apparatus that provides constant resistance for the lower body of a user throughout a workout. The apparatus includes a lower body garment and a resistance band. The lower body garment covers the lower body of the user and positions the resistance band around the thighs. The resistance band applies resistance throughout each movement and position of the legs. The lower body garment may extend to the ankles, the knees, or just above the knees. The apparatus further includes an inner left piece and an inner right piece to completely surround and enclose the legs while positioned within both the lower body garment and the resistance band. The apparatus may further include a skirt portion in order to appear as if a user is only wearing a skirt or to further accent the lower body garment.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a finger or toe exercising device. The finger or toe exercising band comprises a continuous band with no twists with a center bond that may partition the continuous band with no twists into a left loop and a right loop. The left loop and the right loop may be of equal size. The continuous band with no twists may be made of an elastic material and may be operable to exercise fingers and toes. As a non-limiting example, a left big toe may be placed within the left loop, a right big toe may be placed within the right loop, and the left big toe may be pulled away from the right big toe to provide resistance training for the toes. Other toes, fingers, and combinations thereof may be exercised in the same way.

    摘要: An apparatus for providing suspension and resistance training is disclosed. In one embodiment, a main strap includes a fastener for engaging an anchor at an upper end and a connection point that accepts a load at a lower end. A retraction unit, which provides non-load redundancy to the main strap, includes a coupling member securing the retraction unit to the fastener. The main strap is threaded through the ring end fitting. In an extended configuration, the retractable cable is fully extended, and the length of the main strap is fully extended with the main strap having a non-load transferring relationship to the retraction unit in the extended configuration. In an unloaded retracted configuration, the retractable cable is at least partially retracted into the retraction unit and the length of the main strap is less than fully extended.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a resistance band apparatus which overcomes the problems traditionally associated with resistance training—time consuming resistance changes during the same exercise, time consuming adjustments between different exercises, and non-uniform resistance through the exercise motion depending on the height and limb length of the person—by incorporating multiple bands of different resistances into a single apparatus that can be engaged or disengaged from contributing towards the total resistance provided during an exercise, and which can be attached and detached at different points along the length of the apparatus to variations of fixed anchors to provide uniform tension and length for exercise motion. Both the resistances of the different bands and the points along the length of the apparatus at which they are attached are clearly indicated to facilitate easier recording of progress, as well as apparatus setup per exercise for the user.
