Abstract: A method of fabricating a rope that can serve as both a resistance band, jump or rolling rope includes the steps of: (a) braiding a plurality of elastic tubes into a braided rope which has two ends, (b) forming a loop at each of these ends, (c) securing each of these loops to this braided rope with a knot or a zip tie, (d) attaching a handle to this braided rope proximate each of these ends, (e) wherein these elastic tubes are: (i) fabricated from materials in the group including a latex rubber and a non-latex, synthetic rubber, (ii) selected from the group including those having differing diameters, wall thicknesses, and weights per linear foot, and (iii) selected to makeup a specific, braided rope having a specified elasticity and weight per linear foot.

Abstract: A braid including a core part and a sheath part, wherein the core part includes a high strength fiber (a) having a fineness of 300 to 4,000 dtex and a tensile strength of 12 cN/dtex or more, and the sheath part includes a colored synthetic fiber (b) having a fineness of 60 to 1,000 dtex and a tensile strength of less than 12 cN/dtex. A volume ratio [av/bv] of the high strength fiber (a) constituting the core part to the colored synthetic fiber (b) constituting the sheath part is from 73/27 to 40/60. The sheath part has a braid-like structure.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a Raschel lace knitted fabric. In a knitting step, a Raschel knitted fabric is knitted by inserting an insertion yarn made of the same type of material as a first chain stitch yarn into a chain stitch weave which is knitted by feeding the first chain stitch yarn made of a meltable material and a second chain stitch yarn having a higher melting temperature than the first chain stitch yarn from different beams to individual reeds. Heat treatment is performed for a treatment time in which the second chain stitch yarns and a weft passage yarn remain as yarns, at a temperature equal to or lower than the melting temperature of the second chain stitch yarn and equal to or higher than the melting temperature of the meltable material, in a state where the Raschel knitted fabric is stretched.
