摘要: An elliptical machine includes a transmission unit and two exercise units. The transmission unit includes two transmission rods connected pivotally to a fly wheel unit, and two swing rods each being connected pivotally to a respective transmission rod. Each exercise unit includes a connecting rod connected pivotally to a pedal rod and a respective swing rod. A distance from an intersection of the connecting rod and the respective swing rod to a top end of the respective swing rod is larger than that from an intersection of the respective swing rod and the respective transmission rod to the top end of the respective swing rod.

摘要: An exercise device providing a fore and aft horizontal component of striding motion that is dynamically user-defined, while providing a vertical component of the motion that is maintained on a predetermined vertically reciprocating path in some embodiments. The exercise device guides the user's foot in a pseudo-elliptical stride path, while providing a dynamically variable stride length that allows the user to move with a natural stride length. The exercise device allows tall and short users to extend or curtail the stride length to match their natural stride lengths. The length of the reciprocating path is dynamically adjusted during the exercise operation without equipment adjustments by changes in the length of the stride input by the user at a pair of foot engagement pads disposed on laterally spaced apart foot support members.

摘要: Exercise equipment and toys are provided for a portable piece of exercise equipment that enables a user to perform a cardiovascular workout and develop the abdomen simultaneously. Further, the exercise assembly does not require electrical power to operate, but rather operates from the momentum generated by the user. The user generates momentum by pumping the arms, which crates rotation that twists the torso in a reciprocating path, i.e., left-to-right. Thus, the assembly may be portable, non-powered, and configured to enable both cardiovascular and abdominal workouts through a twisting motion, and from a standing, kneeling, or sitting position.

摘要: A proprioceptive enhancement device, including methods of use, is described. The proprioceptive enhancement device includes a sock-like garment, with or without a shoe or other footwear, which mechanically and electrically stimulates cutaneous, subcutaneous, and deep tissue mechanoreceptors and proprioceptors to provide feedback to the user. The feedback causes the user to adjust weight distribution during athletic and non-athletic activities for optimal performance and increased overall health. The device includes additional configurations for electrically grounding the wearer to the earth, which may provide additional health benefits. The disclosure includes a method of using the proprioceptive enhancement device to treat wounds of the foot, including but not limited to venous stasis ulcers, arterial insufficient ulcers, traumatic wounds, and the like.
