摘要： An extendable rope protecting sheath is an apparatus that extends over an existing climbing rope in order to provide a barrier that protects said climbing rope from fraying and weakening as a result of direct contact with damaging surfaces. The apparatus includes an extendable sheath which folds over the climbing rope and is secured onto itself by an inner fastening strip and an outer fastening strip. The apparatus includes a first breakaway recovery strap which is connected to the extendable sheath and used to attach a breakaway wristband to the extendable sheath. The attachment between the breakaway wristband and the extendable sheath allows the user to adjust the apparatus with minimal interference to the user's range of motion. The apparatus uses a first double-sided fastening strip and a second double-sided fastening strip to secure the apparatus to the climbing rope and link multiple extendable rope protecting sheaths together.

摘要： A rope-climbing device has an upper assembly with planar side plates spaced apart by a roller, such that the side plates rotate relative to one another about the roller axis, a spine unit comprising planar links of common width each of half the plate spacing, the links pivoted at a central point, and a lower assembly comprising third and fourth side plates spaced apart by a clamp element such that the third and fourth side plates are enabled to rotate relative to one another about the clamp axis, and the clamp element is enabled to clamp a rope between the plates. The device may be opened by aligning pivot points, a rope inserted, and closed on the rope. Engaged on the rope the device may be set to slide on the rope, ar clamp to the rope by action of a user.

摘要： The present invention relates to a hiking stick, which enables the lengths of multi-stage support pipes to be quickly and simply adjusted by a simple touch and elastically supports the weight of a user when walking with the stick. The present invention provides a hiking stick (10) in which support pipes (11, 12, 13) having different diameters are combined such that the lengths of the support pipes are adjusted by adjusting means (30) and a handle (20) and a support (40) are combined to the support pipes (11, 12, 13), wherein the adjusting means (30) are configured such that: a fixing pipe (31) is coupled to the lower part of the first support pipe (11), and an operating pipe (32) is elastically supported by a spring (33) in connection with the fixing pipe (31); the second support pipe (12) having locking grooves (12a) formed on the outer surface thereof is elevated by being inserted into the first support pipe (11); a connection hole (31b) that penetrates the side of the fixing pipe (31) is perforated such that a stopper ball (31a) is inserted thereinto; when the ball (31a) is pressed on the inner diameter of the operating pipe (32), the ball (31a) is locked in the locking grooves (12a) of the second support pipe (12) whereby the second support pipe (12) is fixed to the first support pipe (11); when the operating pipe (32) is raised and the ball (31a) is located in a wide extensive groove (32a) of the operating pipe (32), the ball (31a) is separated from the locking grooves (12a) of the second support pipe (12) whereby the second support pipe (12) is elevated in the first support pipe (11); and a snap ring (34) is coupled to the fixing pipe (31), thereby preventing the separation of the operating pipe (32).

The grip defines a handling zone of the ice axe and comprises means for adjusting the length of the handling zone. The adjustment means comprise an adjustment end-piece arranged at the free end of the grip. The handling zone is bounded by the adjustment end-piece and by a protuberance of the grip at its end secured to the shaft. The adjustment end-piece is mounted rotating around a rotation pin. The free end of the grip comprises a plurality of notches operating in conjunction with a plurality of grooves of the adjustment end-piece and corresponding to different positions of the adjustment end-piece.
