Abstract: A swing training assembly includes a shuttle, a shuttle travel track, a tensioner, a shuttle displacement line and a shuttle pulley. The shuttle resides in the shuttle travel track and the shuttle pulley and shuttle displacement line are adapted to linearly displace the shuttle to different shuttle positions within the shuttle travel track in response to displacement forces applied to the shuttle pulley by a user pulling on the shuttle displacement line. The tensioner provides an opposing counter-force to control the rate of shuttle displacement. The swing training assembly may also include body positioning limits to maintain proper body alignment while the user pulls on the shuttle displacement line.

Abstract: A golf swing training aid comprises a set of components which include a substantially cylindrical grip bar with a first larger end tapering to a second smaller end so as to resemble the grip portion of a golf club. The grip bar has a first attachment eye at its first end. An extendable tensile member with first and second attachment affordances at its ends, such as clips or formed wire hooks, is attached to the first attachment eye at one end and a second attachment eye at the other end. A foot band attachment bracket has a second attachment eye and a base plane which is stepped upon for stability while a user exercises or practices golf swings while working against tensile resistance developed in the tensile member. The attachment component may be formed of sheet metal or made of formed metal wire in whole or in part.

Abstract: A training, rehabilitation, and recovery system comprises an exercise apparatus including a user interface member coupled to a plurality of links and joints, brakes capable of resisting movement of at least a subset of the links or joints, and sensors capable of sensing movement at the joints or the user interface member. The system also includes a processor configured to receive from the sensors positional data of the links or joints over an initial movement of the apparatus by a user, from which positional coordinates of the user interface member are calculated and a reference trajectory is established. An end space is defined based on the reference trajectory. Over a subsequent movement of the apparatus by the user, the processor receives additional positional data and determines a completion of a repetition based on the positional coordinates of the subsequent movement and the defined end space.

Abstract: A golf training aid maintains alignment of a user's vision with an orientation line during a golf swing. The golf training aid has a stand configured to be securely positioned on the ground, a front indicator, and a rear indicator offset from the front indicator. The front indicator may be pivotally adjusted to move in synchronization with the rear indicator. The front indicator may have a first vertical element and a first horizontal element. The rear indicator may have a second vertical element and a second horizontal element. The user aligns the elements of the front indicator and the rear indicator to align the orientation line with the user's line of sight. Alignment of the orientation line with the user's line of sight defines an angle of between 40° and 80° with the ground.

Abstract: Provided is a golf training apparatus that helps a golfer learn a swing with trunk rotation and limited excessive arm movement, which includes an attachment member configured to be detachably attached to a pants belt loop on the front and right side of a user's waist, a case to which the attachment member is fixed, and first and second pads attached to the case via first and second string-like members, respectively. A force in a direction of winding up the first string-like member inside the case is constantly applied on the first string-like member, and the same applies to the second string-like member. The user executes a practice swing with the first and second pad sandwiched under the armpits. If the user opens an armpit, the first or second pad is pulled by the first or second string-like member and then returns to a region near the case.
