    摘要: A wearable motorized device comprising a shoe bracket, which has a ring-shaped structure and can be fastened to the middle part of a shoe; a wheel, which rotatably supports the shoe bracket to enable lateral skating and longitudinal walking; a driving motor, which rotationally drives the wheel; and a battery pack, which powers the driving motor. The wheels are not coaxially installed on the two sides of the shoe bracket to drive the wearer's longitudinal skating, but are installed on the ring-shaped shoe bracket, which can be fastened to the middle part of the shoe, to support the wearer's lateral skating and longitudinal walking. This way, the wearer can position his/her legs apart during skating; such that the skating stability is improved. Moreover, its general contour does not significantly exceed the contour of the shoe in the longitudinal direction, thus it will not strain the wearer when ascending or descending stairs. Therefore, a wearable motorized device with high skating stability and ease of use can be achieved.

    摘要: A synchronized rotating wheel assembly for a recreational device having wheels is disclosed. The assembly includes a base plate having top and bottom surfaces, the top surface of the base plate adapted to be attached to a portion of the recreational device, a gear assembly joined with the bottom surface of the base plate, and first and second wheel assemblies respectively joined with the first and second interconnected gears. The gear assembly includes first and second interconnected gears, a mechanism for rotating the first and second gears in unison and in the same direction, and a bias spring mechanism for returning the first and second interconnected gears to a default position when the gear assembly is not under stress. The mechanism may include a third gear between the first and second interconnected gears or a belt having teeth that cooperate with both the first and second interconnected gears.

    摘要: A wheel skate device having a foot platform, a frame, and a ring-shaped wheel. The user operates a pair of the wheel skate devices while standing with one foot on each foot platform. The foot platform is movable between an in-use position and a stowage position, and means is provided for interlocking the foot platform with the frame in the in-use position, and for securing it in that position with a locking pin. A pair of the wheel skate devices in stowage position can be connected together as a single unit using a connecting piece, which may have an attached strap for carrying or hanging. A mechanism which limits the wheel to rolling in only one direction, and an elastic band linking two wheel skate devices together to prevent the user's feet from accidentally moving too far apart, are useful learning aids.

    摘要: A braking mechanism for a skate, such as an in-line roller skate, has at least one braking wheel disposed transverse to the skate boot. The braking wheel operates a piston which displaces liquid from a piston housing when the piston is caused to travel within the piston housing by the rotation of the braking wheel. The piston and the piston housing are configured such that an increasing resistance is applied to the rotation of the braking wheel as the piston travels within the piston housing. Thus, when the skate boot is turned transverse to the direction of the skater and the angle of the boot is adjusted to cause the braking wheel to rotate, the increased resistance to the rotation of the braking wheel as the piston moves within the piston housing acts to slow the skater. When the piston fully traverses the piston housing, the rotation of the braking wheel is terminated and the skater comes to a stop.

Each snowboard comprises a curved up nose and tail, a base, and a common sidewall surrounding the perimeter of the board. A resilient tapered core is disposed between the base, but not through the nose and tail, to provide additional flex when needed. The width of the nose is larger than the width of the tail for maneuverability and changing stances. The user will stand on both boards perpendicular to the sidewalls, with each nose pointing outward and each tail pointing inward. Angled sidecuts assist in stopping and turning, while a raised camber provides a smoother ride while adding more edge for better stopping, turning, and control.
