摘要:
boot on a sliding board, having a base (130; 3) intended to be fixed to the sliding board, two lateral jaws (101; 8, 9), each mounted to be rotationally mobile on the base (130; 3) about a substantially vertical rotation axis (103; 10, 11), so as to occupy a closed position to hold a boot and a separated position to release or receive a boot, and a pusher (110; 35) having two lateral trig surfaces (114; 24, 25) each cooperating with a respective ramp (104; 22, 23) of each jaw (101; 8, 9), this pusher (110; 35) being linked to the base (130; 3) by a trig spring (112; 36)and two links (120; 28, 29) each linked to a jaw (101) by a first lateral axis (123; 14, 15) and linked together by at least one central axis (125; 32).

Described is a safety ski binding with a sole plate which can pivot about a pivot pin parallel to the surface of the ski and is connected to the ski. The sole plate is fixed in a central position, so that it cannot pivot laterally relative to the ski, by means of a spring-biased fixture fitted at the rear end of the sole plate, but the sole plate pivots out laterally relative to the ski against the spring bias when a given moment is exceeded. In order to avoid loading the pivot pin in the sole plate, and in the ski itself, by the force exerted by the spring, the invention calls for the fixture to have swivelling levers which, in their locking position, in which they hold the sole plate in its central position, rest against a stop disposed at right angles to the ski next to the swivelling levers.

A backcountry ski binding having a boot-receiving frame (10) and a climbing attachment (40) is detachably mountable (24, 26) upon a ski and convertible between a plurality of climbing modes (L) and a stored mode (C). The frame includes adjustable rear support means (28) that permit free heel operation at a plurality of boot positions to accommodate slopes of differing grade. The climbing attachment is pivotal about a main mounting pin and has an articulated plate (42) and arm (44) so that a climbing scoop (46) can be moved between not only the plurality of different climbing positions, but also between those positions and the stored position. Locking means (56, 58) are included to releasably and selectively lock the scoop in these positions.

In a sliding device for a ski boot that is to be released from a safety ski binding and that comprises a supporting plate securable to the ski and a slide plate displaceable on said supporting plate against the force of at least one spring, positive guiding means for the slide plate on the supporting plate are avoided insofar that only the spring is used to hold the plates together, there being substantially line contact between the two plates in a direction transverse of the ski.

The disclosure herein describes an apparatus for compensating for the longitudinal movement of a safety ski binding and thereby protecting the skier when falling. To achieve this aim, the moving part of the ski binding is subjected to the action of a resilient force which resists the displacement of the moving part in one direction; this resilient force varies as a function of the moving part and, at the same time it varies, the component of this force which acts on the moving part of the binding parallel with the direction of movement thereof, is maintained at an appreciably constant value.

Means for supporting a ski boot on a ski and for facilitating sideward movement thereof in connection with an emergency release. An endless belt is arranged around suitable support means and positioned for movement transversely of the ski. By supporting the boot on such belt means, same is able to move against low but constant frictional resistance laterally with respect to the ski upon the occurrence of emergency release conditions. The belt may be supported upon fixed plate means suitably spaced from the ski if desired or it can be supported around rods supported, preferably rotatably, in space relationship to the ski.
