    摘要: A story based card game has a series of sequential rounds, the card game comprising a plurality of sets of location cards, one set of location cards for each of a plurality of locations associated with an aspect of the story, each set of location cards including one card for each round of the game, wherein each round includes at least one correct location card for that round, wherein the correct location card for each round includes text indicating that the it is the correct card for that round and including a continuation of the story, whereby the series of correct locations cards for the rounds of the game combine to form a story summary.

The game includes at least one deck of cards including a respective card for each state shown on the game board. Geography playing cards include an image and/or identifying text for each state. Electoral college playing cards are similar but further include text identifying each state's number of electoral college votes, and optionally, capital. The game may further include a state capital overlay obscuring or providing state capital names, and/or a historical map overlay for showing as available only the states of the union in an associated election year. Historical playing cards, similar to the electoral college or geography playing cards, corresponding to each historical map overlay may also be provided. A workbook including stimulating topical questions may also be provided.

    摘要: A game designed to teach foreign language to players. Students move around a game board and every time a student lands on a question space, the student must answer the question. Questions are stored on a removable disk and are removable in order to keep pace with the players' progress or level of understanding. This way one may interchange the disks for other question disks to relate the game more to a given topic. For Example if the topic is fruits, then a question disk pertaining to fruits is utilized. When players land on a picture of an apple they can do one of the following: (A) Simply say that particular picture they landed upon in the foreign language; (B) put the picture into a sentence using a foreign language; or (C) make a question out of the picture and ask it to another student using a foreign language. There are over sixty categories of questions, ranging from sports to animals, fruits, shops, clothing etc. Then there are also challenge disks and questions that require the student to come up with a translation from a first language to a second, foreign language. The first person to exactly reach the finish wins. The winner must land of the finish exactly. There is a penalty circle, with a spinner attached. Every time a player lands on the “FATE” space they have to spin the spinner and face whatever penalty the spinner lands on. The winner of the game is the first player to advance the full incremental distance from start to finish.

Each of 104 cards in a deck of cards has an alphabetical letter and a numerical value along with a cartoon which begins with a phoneme that corresponds to the letter so that the cards may be used as flash cards to teach the alphabet to small children. Some games require only a matching to two alphabetical characters. Other games are designed to permit players with low scores to "gang-up" on players with high scores. Still other games fit between these extremes to challenge the players skills and to provide games of interest to various age groups.
