摘要： A balloon-bursting game for providing amusement to individuals at events by striking a pneumatic striker to inflate the balloon until it bursts. The inventive device includes a striker mechanism for pneumatically compressing air into an air tube when struck or depressed, a vertical shaft comprised of a base structure and housing, a balloon nozzle and piercing frame attached to the top of the vertical shaft, and an air tube connected by a nozzle from the striker mechanism through a monodirectional controlling valve and housing to the bottom end of the balloon nozzle. In use, with an uninflated balloon secured to the balloon nozzle, a hammer or similar object, or means of jumping up and down upon the striker mechanism, repeatedly depresses the striker mechanism, forcing air through the tube, valve and nozzle into the balloon, so that the balloon expands to a size sufficient to press against the piercing frame and burst.

摘要： A game set for ceiling play composed of a shaped lighter-then-air master balloon tethered to a line to be held by the player, and a group of shaped lighter-then-air, free-floating slave balloons which when released rise to the ceiling of a play room. The respective balloon shapes and their number are appropriate to the game. Thus in a fishing game, the shapes of the slave balloons are those of different species of fish, and that of the master balloon is of a standard float at the end of a fishing line. Attached to the surface of the master balloon is a patch forming one element of a velcro fastener, and attached to the surface of each slave balloon is a patch forming the complementary element. In ceiling play, the player seeks by manipulating the tethered master balloon to position it so that the patch thereon engages the complementary patch on a selected slave balloon on the ceiling, at which point the caught slave balloon can be brought down from the ceiling.

摘要： A game is provided in which tokens are moved according to the throw of a die through a number of obstacles on a path from the point of a shipwreck to shore. Adjacent the path of travel is a three dimensional fish whose jaws may be manually moved toward a closed position by rotating its dorsal fin. Playing with the game, a balloon is placed in the fish's jaws and players are required to rotate the fin when their tokens land on particular game board spaces. When the balloon bursts, the player who burst it is penalized.

摘要： A child's toy which can also be used as a game. The game consists of a game board and a balloon launching device called a "balloon fly". The game board is made from a flat piece of paper or cardboard and is divided into 9 area, marked 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10. Next to the number 2 are the words "Free Fly" which gives an extra turn when the "balloon fly" lands on this space. To play the game, a child blows on the open end of the "balloon fly" until the balloon is expanded with sufficient air to reach the game board. The child then puts his finger over the open end of "balloon fly" to hold the air inside of the balloon. Next, the child adjusts the wing at a conjectured setting and then aims the "balloon fly" towards the game board. When the child feels that his settings and aim are completed, the child's finger is released from the "balloon fly" and exiting air causes the "balloon fly" to be launched toward the game board. Points are scored when the "balloon fly" lands on a game board number.

摘要： A game including a single rupturable inflated balloon confined in fixed position in a cylindrical envelope with the balloon protruding through the opposite ends of the envelope. The envelope has apertures therein aligned with the balloon. A plurality of game members of different lengths can be inserted through the apertures to partially penetrate the interior of the envelope and engage the balloon, and the members may be locked in position. The envelope may be translucent. The game members deform and ultimately rupture the balloon.

摘要： An amusement device for playing a skilled based game, that includes a balloon, a pump for inflating the balloon, a connecting hose for connecting the pump to the balloon, a release value for relieving pressure from the pressurized system, which includes the pump, the connecting hose, and the balloon. The game includes a countdown timer for providing a predetermined game interval, and an activation switch for the initiation of the play of the game and the countdown timer. A first detector is provided for detecting the successful exercise of skill during the play of the game and providing a signal to the controller reflecting the successful exercise of skill. A controller performs a number of functions including, in response to said signal reflecting the successful exercise of skill, activation of the air pump to operate during said game interval wherein the air pump will cause balloon to inflate. In the event a signal is recognized by the controller for a sufficient time over said predetermined game interval, the pump will be correspondingly activated for a duration which will cause the balloon to burst. After an unsuccessful play of the game the controller will activate the release valve to allow any pressure in said system to dissipate.
