摘要： Disclosed is an ornamental display assembly which includes a base, first and second coaxially arranged support members, a common drive mechanism mounted on the base and coupled to the first and second coaxially arranged support members, wherein the drive mechanism includes a music box mechanism and a rotating device, a first ornament supported and driven by the first support member, and a second ornament coupled with the second support member. When the common drive mechanism is actuated, the first support member is rotated by the rotating device while the second support member is rotated by the drive mechanism, thereby respectively causing the first and second ornaments to rotate in different manners. Alternatively, the ornamental display assembly further includes a following device disposed between the first support member and the rotating device for being coupled with the first support member and the rotating device to cause the first support member to rotate in a direction opposite to that of the second support member.

摘要： A transmission mechanism for a music box having a plurality of ornaments coupled thereon includes a driving mechanism having a rotary wheel with an eccentric rod and disposed in the music box, a first support mounted in the music box and having a through hole, a connection rod having two opposite ends, a first elongated support member inserted through the through hole of the first support, secured on the first support and having one end coupled with an ornament and the other end secured on one end of the connection rod, a coupler having a first end connected with the other end of the connection rod and a second end coupled with the eccentric rod. Preferably, the transmission mechanism further includes a second support mounted in the music box and having a through hole, a following piece slidably moving along two opposite elongated sides of the second support, and a second elongated support member inserted through the through hole of the second support and having one end coupled with another ornament and the other end secured to the following piece. When the rotary wheel is rotated, the following piece is alternately moved up and down by the eccentric rod thereby resulting in a vertically reciprocated movement of one ornament, and the other end of the connection rod will be driven by the coupler thereby resulting in a reciprocated rotation of another ornament.

摘要： An ornamental carousel assembly is disclosed which simulates the movements of a full-size carousel by supporting various carousel figures that both reciprocate vertically and revolve around a central vertical support column along with a canopy. The rotating and reciprocating ornaments are supported on a central support assembly by a bearing arrangement which minimizes the friction developed during movement of the ornamental elements so as to permit a miniature wind-up music box mechanism to drive the carousel. The drive assembly from the miniature wind-up music box mechanism includes a gear drive assembly for transferring drive from an output shaft of the miniature wind-up music box mechanism to rotate and reciprocate the various ornamental figures and a spring which is used to impart the necessary rotary drive force to the canopy. The inclusion of the spring serves not only to drive the canopy but also provides a safety feature wherein the canopy is permitted to flex in order to prevent damage of the canopy during transit and handling especially when heavy ceramic canopies are utilized.

摘要： An action toy for young children comprising a base that defines a pathway, and motor means on the base connected to a primary mobile object in the form of a personified animal or vehicle such as a toy shark for advancing the object forwardly along the pathway. Caming surfaces are spaced along the pathway and a matting caming surface is provided on the primary object. The caming surfaces are arranged and designed so that they engage and cause the primary object to raise upwardly at each pathway caming surface and then lower back down between pathway caming surfaces. This provides intermittent up and down movement of the primary object as it moves forwardly. Such movement could simulate the opening and closing of the jaws of the shark. Secondary objects such as small fish may also be provided for movement along the pathway; They may appear to be "swallowed" by the shark when it reaches one of them. In a travel toy form, the external components such as the shark and the fish may be detached and stored within the base.
