摘要： A gyratory crusher frame part includes a topshell mountable on a bottom shell, the topshell having an annular wall extending around a longitudinal axis. A spider having a plurality of arms extending radially outward from a cap is positioned at the longitudinal axis. Each arm has a first portion extending in a radially outward direction from the cap and a second portion extending in an axial direction from an outer region of the first portion. An annular flange is positioned between the second portion of each arm and the annular wall. The annular wall is defined between an outward and inward facing surface of the annular wall. A section of the wall neighboring the flange includes a concave section at the outward facing surface. A first half of the concave section closest to the flange is a substantially uniform curve extending continuously in the circumferential direction around the longitudinal axis.

摘要： A gyratory crusher, which includes a bowl, a head assembly and a cylindrical eccentric assembly. The bowl is shaped as a cone and has a wider opening approaching a top portion of the crusher, and an inner shell, which is backed by a concrete outer shell. The head assembly is shaped as a cone, and is centrally located within the bowl. The head assembly also includes a central mainshaft which is located on an inclined axis within the bowl. The cylindrical eccentric assembly includes an eccentric central volume in which the main shaft is held so that, as the eccentric assembly rotates, the mainshaft gyrates, with the eccentric assembly rotating about a center hole within a central hub of the crusher. A method of making or retrofitting a crushing device such as, for example, a cone crusher or other gyratory crusher, is also provided.

摘要： A control system for a rock crusher in a rock crushing plant operates the crusher at optimum efficiency for increasing the throughput of the crusher. The horsepower of the motor that drives the crusher is sensed, and the level of rock within the crusher bowl is sensed, and these sensed conditions are inputted into a programmable logic controller. The programmable logic controller correspondingly adjusts the feed rate of a feeder that supplies rock to the crusher. The controller also commands a bypass component positioned between the feeder and crusher adjacent the mouth of the crusher for providing an immediately responsive control of the feed rate being delivered to the crusher.
