Abstract:
A rigid mount orbitor sprinkler assembly incorporates a deflector plate configuration that is configured for both spinning/rotating motion as well as orbital or wobbling motion around the center of a spool assembly. The sprinkler incorporates structure to reduce drool that may fall in a concentrated area below the sprinkler and to prevent debris from sandy water or the like from accelerating sprinkler component wear. With reduced vibration, the assembly may be rigidly mounted on a center pivot or other supporting structure while achieving the advantages associated with wobbling and rotating sprinkler assemblies.
Abstract:
A spool and wobbler assembly for a sprinkler includes a spool section with facing spool flanges on opposite sides of a spool core, where at least one of the spool flanges includes a circumferential rolling ledge. A wobbler cage including a wobbler ring is supported on the spool section, and a water deflector plate is coupled with the wobbler cage. An underside of the wobbler ring is provided with a circumferential rolling surface that engages the circumferential rolling ledge of the at least one spool flange. The rolling surface and rolling ledge provide for smoother orbital motion of the deflector plate.

Abstract:
In some embodiments the present disclosure provides a sprinkler comprising: a nozzle for projecting a stream of liquid in a first direction; and a spinner having a liquid deflecting surface, which is pivotally mounted in-line with the nozzle such that a stream of liquid from the nozzle impinges on the liquid deflecting surface; where the liquid deflecting surface is shaped such that the stream of liquid causes the spinner to spin and furthermore, where the liquid deflecting surface is shaped such that the stream of liquid is deflected in a second direction that is substantially transverse to the first direction. Additional embodiments of this disclosure pertain to the sprinkler that includes a frame, where the spinner is pivotally mounted on the frame.
Abstract:
A sprinkler head with a nutating water distribution cage attached to a sprinkler body. Water from the sprinkler head impacts a strike plate of the cage to initiate nutation of the cage. Spiral grooves on the strike plate contribute to the nutation of the cage, and an upturned edge on the periphery of the strike plate contributes to the spread and uniform distribution of water from the sprinkler head.
Abstract:
A jet diffuser with a quick-change nozzle for use in irrigation systems includes an upper supply portion with a main body that has an upper tubular portion with a longitudinal axis, which is designed to be connected to a drop line and a lower hollow portion having a central cavity and a side wall, in which a lateral opening is formed, a nozzle adapted to be radially inserted into the cavity through the lateral opening in substantially coaxial and facing relationship to the upper tubular portion to direct a liquid jet axially downwards, and a quick-connect system associated with the nozzle for securing it within the main body and including cam and follower drive elements operating on the nozzle to move it and push it axially upwards into substantial contact and sealing relationship to the lower edge of the upper tubular portion, possibly with no seal interposed therebetween.
Abstract:
Providing a flush bowl capable of discharging a planar shower-like water discharge flow in a wide range while changing the water discharge trajectory is directed. The shower device according to an embodiment of the invention is a shower device including: a water discharger including a plurality of water discharge ports; a rotator including a channel at its center; a coupling section coupling the inside of the water discharger to the channel of the rotator; a receiving section receiving the rotator; a driving mechanism configured to rotate and revolve the rotator in the receiving section; and a decelerating section provided inside the water discharger. The plurality of water discharge ports is provided asymmetrically with respect to a central axis of the rotator, or discontinuously in a peripheral direction, the water discharger is configured to rotate and revolve by rotation and revolution of the rotator caused by the driving mechanism, the plurality of water discharge ports is configured to cause rotational trajectories of water discharged from the water discharge ports to undergo a periodic rotary motion associated with the rotation of the rotator, the decelerating section has an area larger than a cross-sectional area of the coupling section, and the water discharge ports have a smaller total cross-sectional area than the decelerating section so as to accelerate water decelerated by the decelerating section.
Abstract:
An object is to provide a water discharge device in which a water sprinkling member having water discharge ports can simultaneously achieve both good rotation start-up ability and good rotation stability. A water discharge device FC is configured in such a manner that the center of gravity of a rotor constituted of a tubular body 20 and a head 40 (the water sprinkling member) is positioned near an opening 4 which is located near the center of swing at which a central axis C1 of the tubular body 20 tilted by swinging revolution and a central axis C2 of an inflow chamber 3 intersect in a state where any water is not supplied to a buffer chamber 43 of the head 40, whereas the center of gravity of the rotor is moved to a head 40 side in a state where the water is supplied to the buffer chamber 43 of the head 40.
