摘要: A machining unit that is supported on a machine tool and machines a workpiece by a revolving tool with a main spindle section being driven and rotated includes an eccentric rotational section, a tool holder, a tool revolution-radius changing mechanism, and a cutting-edge-orientation correcting mechanism. The eccentric rotational section is disposed on the main spindle section, and is rotatable about an eccentric axis that is located eccentrically at any distance in a radial direction of the main spindle section from a rotation center of the main spindle section. The tool holder is disposed on the eccentric rotational section, and supports the tool. The tool revolution-radius changing mechanism moves the tool in the radial direction, and changes the radius of the revolution of the tool by rotating the eccentric rotational section about the eccentric axis. The cutting-edge-orientation correcting mechanism corrects the orientation of a cutting edge of the tool by making the tool holder spin about an axis of the tool holder, the axis being parallel to the rotation center of the main spindle section.

摘要: A cam driving device for a processing device including a cylindrical member, a rotational shaft that has a mount hole formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof, a cam, and a tool that is mounted in the mount hole of the cylindrical member so that the tool can be protruded and retracted through the mount hole in a radial direction of the rotational shaft in accordance with a profile of the cam. The cylindrical member and the rotational shaft are axially reciprocated to process a non-circular bore, including a storage unit for storing a data table representing associating relationship between a rotational angle of the cam and a protrusion amount of the tool which is provided on the basis of the rotational angle of the cam, and a controller for advancing or retarding the rotational angle of the rotational shaft according to the data table stored in the storage unit.

摘要: A machine tool having a boring bar carrying cutting tools and mounted for rotative adjustment on a rotary driven spindle with its axis offset from the axis of the spindle. An additional cutting tool is mounted for radial adjustment on the spindle individually of the boring bar. The tools on the boring bar and the cutting tool on the spindle are adjusted radially by means of a helically splined nut engaged with a similarly splined shaft which is rotated relative to the spindle in response to axial displacement of the shaft.
