    摘要: A processing method of a semi-processed product for obtaining a rotor equipped with a series of blades integral therewith by using a rotating tool such as a cutter, integral or with inserts. The processing method includes a) forming a hole into the semi-processed product; b) forming a series of cavities in the semi-processed product by removing material with the rotating tool to create the series of blades, starting from the hole and following predetermined paths; and c) removing material from the semi-processed product by advancing the rotating tool along its rotation axis and not removing material when the rotating tool advances along the predetermined paths. The rotation axis of the rotating tool is misaligned with respect to an axis of the hole.

    摘要: An impeller of a centrifugal fluid-type rotary machine includes impeller blades each having a concave and convex surface of which the shape is formed of parallel generatrices inclined with respect to a rotary shaft by an angle defined for each impeller blade. A method of manufacturing the impeller includes inclining a main plate material of the impeller with respect to a plane of a table of a machine tool by a desired angle, fixedly mounting the plate on the table after placing the plate on a rotation indexable jig, controlling three axial positions of the plate in the right and left, front and rear and upper and lower direction by a three-axis controller and cutting out the main plate or side plate by a cutting tool to integrally form the impeller blades on the plate.

    摘要: In combination with a lathe having a headstock and a tailstock, a method of machining a metal workpiece includes: forming in a first end of the metal workpiece a cavity; positioning a spherical member in a predetermined position within the cavity; fixedly locating the spherical member in the predetermined position; mounting a second end of the metal workpiece in driving relation with the machine headstock; providing a means for rotatably supporting the first end of the metal workpiece; forming in a first end of the rotatable support means a cavity suitably dimensioned to conformably receive a predetermined portion of the spherical member; mounting a second end of the rotatable support means in the tailstock; mounting the first end of the metal workpiece in rotatable supporting relation with respect to the first end of the rotatable support means such that the cavity of the first end of the rotatable support means supportingly receives a predetermined portion of the spherical member which extends from the first end of the metal workpiece; rotating the metal workpiece such that the spherical member spins freely within the cavity of the rotatable support means; and machining the metal workpiece to a predetermined shape.
