The moving mechanism 3 of clamps 2 is constructed by comprising a scroll disc 4 as working disc forming a circular hole 41 in which to insert the work W at the center and scroll guides 42a, 42b in spiral shape the winding direction of which is opposite to each other from the center toward the outer circumference on the both side faces, a rotary drive mechanism 5 for rotatably driving this scroll disc 4, and scroll pieces 6 having a fitting portion 61 to be engaged with the scroll guides 42a, 42b of the scroll disc 4 and disposed on both sides of the scroll disc 4 in a way to correspond to a plurality of clamps 2 respectively.

摘要： A thread cutting milling tool comprises a shank with a working portion formed with a recess for receiving a thread cutting insert. The thread cutting insert has one edge formed with a line of thread-form teeth of identical profile. The thread cutting teeth project laterally for cutting engagement with a work-piece while the tool spins about its axis. The tool also orbits within or about a work piece, and in one orbit of the tool in a helical cutting path relative to the work piece a number of complete turns of the screw-thread are formed which is equal to the number of teeth of the insert in engagement with the work-piece. A secondary cutter carried on the thread cutting milling tool provides for formation of a pilot portion or counter bore on the work piece at an end of the screw thread. The pilot portion or counter bore provides for alignment of a threaded member which is to engage the screw thread. Also, the secondary cutter provides for formation of a blunt or scalloped full-thread starting end for the screw thread at the pilot portion. The blunt starting end for the screw thread is robust, resists damage, and resists cross threading.

摘要： This invention relates to a chuck assembly for a drill box of a mine drill for releasably securing a mining tool including a working end and a depending rod-like member for roof bolting and roof and face drilling operations and a method of using the chuck assembly. The drill box includes a source of rotary power and a drive member operatively connected to the source of rotary power to rotatably drive the chuck assembly. The chuck assembly includes a spindle, a collet closer and a collet. The spindle is operatively connected to the drive member and has a sleeve of a cylindrical shape including a threaded collar end and a bottom end and an opening extending a selected distance from the collar end to the bottom end. The collet closer includes an annular housing having an aperture threaded for threadingly engaging the threaded collar end of the spindle. The collet includes a forward end portion and an opposing tapered rear end portion and an internal bore capable of receiving the rod-like member of the mining tool. The collet extends a selected distance within the opening of the sleeve such that the collet closes uniformly around the rod-like member of the mining tool as the collet is compressed within the opening of the sleeve by the action of the collet closer threadingly engaging the threaded collar end.
