In addition, the cap engaging member is further provided with a first securing band (23) for captively engaging the cap engaging member (20) to the shaft member (30) and a second tensioning band (24) for limiting the amount of distortion or enlargement of the outboard end of the passageway (22) of the cap engaging member (20).

    摘要： The tool for removing a tire valve stem cap is an elongated tool that allows a user to easily reach the valve stem of dual tires. The tool includes an elongated handle portion having opposed front and rear ends, and a head portion joined to the front end of the handle portion. The head portion has a recess centrally formed in a front face thereof and a resilient annular gripping member disposed in the recess. The annular gripping member has a central bore formed therethrough, with the central bore being dimensioned and configured for frictionally engaging the tire valve stem cap for removal and insertion thereof.

    摘要： A multipurpose tire tool for quickly and easily removing and inserting valve stem cores and sensors for a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Such a tool has a central body with a proximal end and a distal end. The tool further includes a variety of elements used in the removal and insertion of valve stem cores and sensors associated with TPMS. These elements may include, but are not limited to, one or more Philips head screwdriver inserts or bits, a T-10 insert or bit, a valve a core replacement tool, and a tire air fitting. In practice, the tool may be oriented in any of a variety of fashions to quickly and easily be inserted into valve stems for the removal of valve stem cores and replacement of TPMS on a wheel of an automobile.

    摘要： A tire pressure gauge with a valve cap wrench is disclosed. A bore at one end of the tire pressure gauge may be used to grip and remove a valve cap mounted on a valve stem of a tire. A port at the other end of the tire pressure gauge may be used to measure air pressure in a tire. The measured air pressure may be displayed on a display on the pencil gauge. The cap wrench may have a collet to hold a valve cap and a switch to tighten and loosen grip on a valve cap. The cap wrench may also have a plunger to push a valve cap out of the pencil gauge.

    摘要： A drive socket for imparting torque loads to a fastener element includes a body with a cavity opening to a distal end for receiving the fastener element. The cavity has protuberances projecting inwardly toward the central axis from the cavity surface to engage the fastener element. The protuberances have a frusto-pyramidal shape and are uniformly spaced circumferentially around and longitudinally along the cavity surface. The protuberances thus form a cross-hatched or knurled pattern. The cavity is tapered to further assist in fastener engagement. The protuberances firmly engage the fastener element at longitudinally intermittent points to apply torque loads and facilitate rotary displacement.
