摘要: A hole saw includes a base member configured to secure the hole saw to a drive device and a blade member extending orthogonally from each side of the base member. Each blade member is configured having respective distal ends that flex transversely to a longitudinal cutting direction of the blade member. Responsive to rotational movement of the hole saw via the drive device against a structure, a medial location of each blade member creates an initial respective linear cutting path into the structure, and further movement of the respective blade members into the structure cause the distal ends of the respective blade members to flex transversely to the cutting direction and follow the initial linear cutting path despite the rotational movement of the hole saw relative to the structure to produce a linear cut through the structure.

摘要: A tool for parting, in particular for sawing, includes a carrier blade that has a toothing portion with a finite, geometrically determined toothing, and a receiver for fixing the carrier blade to a tool spindle of a power tool. The tool spindle can be driven in oscillation about its longitudinal axis. The toothing is disposed at a distance from the receiver and is configured to be advanced perpendicularly in relation to the longitudinal axis, such that the toothing is realized in a non-uniform manner along the toothing portion. The toothing portion has a middle region and end regions that adjoin the middle region and that are provided with strengthened corner teeth.

摘要: A cast cutter having a pair of juxtaposed, sawedged blades which oscillate relative to each other on a common pivot point to provide a scissorslike cutting action resulting in a relatively wide kerf in the cast being out. A patient protective blade guard, slidable between the underside of the cast and the patient's skin, includes an aperture into which portions of the blades partially extend wherein a nip area is provided at an interface location of the blades and the guard to facilitate cutting of an inner woven cloth lining of the cast to the scissor teeth. The oscillatory motion of the blades relative to each other minimizes clogging thereof by dust particles generated during a cutting operation. The blades are slightly spaced from each other to preclude friction generated heat buildup that could result from the moving blades rubbing together.

摘要: An axially mounted non-circular hole saw device follows a lateral, oscillating cutting motion to cut a non-circular kerf in a workpiece. The device adapts to variously styled power tools. The device couples to a power tool at an axial orientation through a mounting portion. The axial disposition of the device relative to the power tool enables the axial vibratory force generated by the power tool to convert to a lateral, oscillating cutting motion followed by the device. This cutting motion forms a clean non-circular kerf, offsets vibrations during cutting, and minimizes debris formed during cutting. A cutting portion has a non-circular shape. The cutting portion includes a base edge and a teeth edge. A bridge traverses the base edge for stability. A mounting portion extends perpendicularly from the bridge portion. The mounting portion includes a gap defined by slots that couple to a coupling mechanism from the power tool.

The gear arrangement causes the first and second tool connectors to move when the drive system is activated to thereby cause the first and second tool attachments to partially or fully oscillate in opposite directions relative to one another.
