摘要： A portable mixer having an open-top, semicircular mixing trough supported by a base fixedly mounted to the mixing trough. The base is provided with a pair of spaced-apart box channels extending through the base for receiving forklift tines. A paddle is positioned within the mixing tub, and is mounted in cantilever fashion to an axle with the paddle mounted in depending relation to the axle. The axle is carried by a bearing located outside the trough and the axle is aligned with the axial center of the semicircular trough. An actuating system is used to rotate the axle back and forth causing the paddle to sweep back and forth within the trough.

摘要： The apparatus for mixing cement includes a shaft connected to an engine for rotating the shaft. The shaft has mounted thereon a plurality of paddles for providing a pushing force and arranged so as to channel the flow of cement mix about the shaft to allow complete and efficient mixing. In one embodiment the paddles are arranged with faces parallel to the axis of the shaft and apertures are cutout for controlling the flow. In another embodiment, the paddles are notched plates that are bent to provide pushing surfaces and formed so as to channel the flow about the shaft.

摘要： A foundry sand mixer for mixing and dispensing silica or green sand and their additives through the enclosed longitudinal belt conveyor mechanism having a plurality of openings in the top communicating with a first feeder disposed above the enclosed longitudinal belt conveyor mechanism and including a pair of openings in the bottom. The first feeder includes an auger-type conveyor and a sand weir communicating with the most upstream opening in the first feeder. A first hopper for containing silica sand and a second hopper for containing green sand are disposed over the first feeder. A selective valve is disposed at the bottom of each of the first and second hoppers permitting the flow of sand through only one of the hoppers at any time or preventing the flow of any sand from the hoppers. The mixer may include additional feeders, some of which are disposed above and downstream from the first feeder, and others including pumps are connected to a plurality of fluids that are fed through a constant speed mixer where the materials are mixed and the mixed materials delivered at a discharge opening.

摘要： A machine for mixing fireproofing material, concrete or the like includes a cylindrical shaped rotatable drum with a rotatably driven axial shaft having mixer blades attached to the shaft. The drum has an opening for loading and discharging material to be mixed and a pivotally mounted cover for closing the opening. The cover is provided with an aperture and a funnel-shaped member within the aperture for supporting a sack of material to be emptied into the drum. The funnel-shaped member is closed by the sack supported therein thus sealing the aperture during the sack emptying and material mixing processes. Liquid is supplied to the mixer drum through another opening in the cover, which opening is blocked in the mixing position of the drum to prevent the emission of dust particles therethrough. Latching means are provided for releasably securing the cover means in closed or partially open position, to facilitate cleaning of the mixing drum. Also, the cover means and a handle for rotating the mixing drum support the cover in the event the latching means is unlatched when the drum is rotated to the dumping position.

The at least two arms are configured in a first partially-open resting position and are moveable to a second fully-open operative position. The mixing element further comprises a blade (307) positioned across the shaft more proximally than the corkscrew neck.

The lump conditioning blade is supported by the driving mechanism such that the lump conditioning blade is movable in a working direction along a respective one of the boundary walls with a working edge of the blade being maintained at a prescribed space from the boundary wall which is effective to reduce a lump size of the lumps in the mixture as the mixture passes between the working edge of the lump conditioning blade and the boundary wall.
