    摘要: For each of a plurality of production facilities, a series of operations is performed. For each of a plurality of batches of a concrete mixture produced at the respective production facility based on a formulation, a first difference between a measured quantity of cementitious and a first quantity specified in the formulation is determined. A first standard deviation is determined based on the first differences. For each of the plurality of batches, a second difference between a measured quantity of water and a second quantity specified in the formulation is determined. A second standard deviation is determined based on the second differences. A first benchmark is selected from among the first standard deviations, and a second benchmark is selected from among the second standard deviations. An amount by which costs may be reduced by improving production at the production facility to meet the first and second benchmarks is determined.

    摘要: An aggregate bin heater assembly having a bin for receiving aggregate therein and a plurality of fluid inlets supported at vertically spaced apart elevations relative to the bin for distributing a heating fluid into the aggregate within the bin, further includes a control system for controlling distribution of the heating fluid. A pressure sensor associated with at least an uppermost one of the fluid inlets so as to be arranged to sense pressure within the bin at the respective elevation. A controller determines a low pressure condition if the pressure sensed by the pressure sensor is lower than a prescribed normal pressure. A valve associated with the uppermost one of the fluid inlets shuts off the flow of heating fluid to the uppermost one of the fluid inlets responsive to determination of the low pressure condition by the controller.

Temperature readings are further used to qualify or evaluate a load. Also, water purge connections facilitate cold weather operation.

The mustard seed is blended into the total batch of dry blend materials and the mustard seed can subsequently be extracted by a process of sieving from a known volume of sample taken of the mixture since the mustard seed is larger than the other particles that are being blended. The weight and or sight count of the extracted mustard seed present in the sample is determined and compared with the amount of seed that should be present in a perfect blend to determine if the dry blend materials are thoroughly mixed.
