    摘要： A truck-mounted apparatus is capable of blending liquid/liquid or liquid/solid constituents in a high capacity blending operation, and the apparatus achieves a high degree of versatility in the introduction of materials into a blender apparatus (10) for discharge from either or both sides of the truck or other vehicle. A closed loop system (12) permits suction of liquid materials as well as discharge of mixed materials from one or both sides of the truck, and is capable of flushing or other pumping operations as well. Moreover, the closed loop system (12) includes a pump (62) as a part of the closed loop system which, together with the blender (10), is operable off of a common drive, such as the power transmission train of the truck. The blender permits isolated injection of liquids and/or solid constituents through separate inlets, by means of dynamic seal, a first inlet (20) causing liquids to be introduced tangentially so as to swirl through a downwardly divergent annular chamber and the second inlet causing the materials to be introduced more in an axial direction through an impeller (16) which imparts a centrifugal force to drive the materials outwardly into the swirling stream of liquid.

    摘要： A utility vehicle comprised of a trailer having a rotatable, inclined concrete mixer thereon and means on the trailer for rotating the mixer. Thus, the vehicle is self-contained and can be towed by a conventional concrete mixer truck to a job site. The mixer of the vehicle is pivotally mounted on the trailer for movement in a vertical plane. Means carried by the trailer and coupled with the mixer thereon raises the same from a lowered, over-the-road position to an elevated, materials-transfer position, whereby concrete can be transferred from the mixer on the trailer to the mixer of the truck. The trailer has a tongue for releasable connection to the rear end of the truck.

    摘要： A portable transit mix unit comprising a support base and concrete mixer drum thereon, is provided with rollers movably connected to the base whereby the base can be elevated out of engagement with the bed of a truck or lowered to support the unit directly on the bed. In the elevated position of the base, the unit can be rolled off of the truck bed onto a support stand. This enables the truck to be used for other purposes while the unit is supported on the stand. The stand includes a tiltable platform which when inclined forwardly, facilitates transfer of the unit from the platform onto the truck bed.
