    摘要: A blow molding apparatus and a nozzle operable to provide fluid into an interior of a blank. The blank is supported in a mold such that a neck of the blank emerges from a wall of the mold. The nozzle includes a nozzle tip and an opening that surrounds the neck of the blank. A peripheral edge of the opening comes to rest on the mold and a seal is provided between the opening and the mold. In one embodiment, the seal is held on the nozzle by a locking ring.

    摘要: A molding system for hydraulic blow molding of a container from a preform. The molding includes a pressurization unit that is configured to receive liquid molding medium from a source; a fill head unit coupled to the pressurization unit to receive the liquid molding medium therefrom; a mold assembly defining a mold cavity in the shape of the container. During forming of the container, a nozzle piston is moved from a retracted position to an extending position where the nozzle piston is engaged to inject the molding medium into the preform, thereby forming and filling the container. The fill head unit defines a receiving chamber for the liquid molding medium that maintains a constant volume during movement of the nozzle piston between the retracted and extended positions.

    摘要: For stretching blowing up a preheated preform, the preform is mechanically stretched longitudinally by a rod simultaneously to its blowing up, causing its transverse deformation. The displacement of the stretching rod is caused by a pneumatic piston fed by the same pressurized air supply as feeds the inside of the preform for its blowing up. Air is supplied under pressure inside the preform through a regulating valve which does not open until the stretching rod has contacted a closed end of the preform. An open end of the preform is sealed against a sleeve which is mounted for movement relative to but in the same direction as the rod. The pressurized air is applied against this sleeve to force the sleeve into sealing contact with the open end of the preform with a sealing pressure that varies as the pressure of the pressurized air. A piston on the sleeve rides in a cylinder into which the pressurized air is introduced on a side of the piston opposite the preform.
